according to https://www.si.com/nfl/buccaneers if Moore is hired it's likely either SF assistant Brandon Staley or George Edwards that will likely be hired as DC.
Hopefully he'll be given his walking papers before it comes down to it, but I hope one way or another he is replaced with some "new blood" and someone that can coach up the OLB to help level up the position and the pass rush.
Kellen Moore to the saints official
underwhelming hire by them.
eagles offense is loaded and their o line top 3 in the league.
I think given the circumstances in N.O with the situation with the church clergy and the ownership, and the horrid cap situation that they've become one of the least desirable coaching destinations in the league...seems like it took them longer than it should have to nail down a HC, and i don't think it had to do with due diligence.

I don't dislike Moore's offensive approach but the Saints have limited resources to remake that line and add another WR to the mix. Plus, they do need to invest in younger talent on aging defensive squad.
Edwards has been moved off of coaching OLBs. Foote is back coaching OLBs and Caldwell is back with coaching ILB. Having Strong with DL means the Bucs front seven should see massive improvements with this coaching shake up. Also, I would not be surprised if Licht drafts a DL, OLB and ILB to hand to these coaches to coach up. Too much talk about drafting DBs but vet safeties are a always available in free agency. Same with zone CBs.

agreed. Kamara is nice but a year closer to 30. Olave is solid. Qb is obviously a big need. Not much to build around on either line or defense. I think the falcons will push us for the south just like last year but I see 7 or less wins for both Carolina and NO currently.
Bucs falcons should be in the 9-11 wins range. If penix has a Jayden daniels like impact watch out. Obviously a big if but he does have the upside.
