I had a thought about that this morning. We've had plenty of very good players who might NOT be very good teachers, or not even want to actually teach or coach. IMO, Lovie could do what Schiano did with Butch Davis & Jimmy Raye; hire guys like Alstott, Lynch, Brooks, Sapp, et al, to be ADVISORS, rather than fulltime coaches. I've wondered as many here have as what exactly Nickerson is to be, as it's not been confirmed that I've seen that he IS the new LB coach. I'm wondering if he's considered an Asst. LB coach, lending advice to players or whoever the LB coach will be. As always, everyone's thoughts on this are encouraged! 8)
