(Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)Getty ImagesDefensive end Damontre Moore wasn’t spotted at Giants practice on Friday and it appears he won’t be spotted at practice on Saturday or anytime else either.Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reported Friday afternoon that Moore has been waived by the Giants and Dan Graziano of ESPN.com adds to that report with the news that Moore was dropped after violating team rules. There’s no word at this time what Moore did to earn a pink slip.Moore was a third-round pick by the Giants in 2013 and he’s had issues following the rules on the field this year as well. Moore committed several personal fouls for late or otherwise excessive hits on quarterbacks this season. That earned him a spot on the bench for one week, but he’s been a big part of their rotation throughout the rest of the season and his three sacks are one off the team lead.Moore is just 23 and he showed enough pass rush ability that other teams will likely be interested in him, although the specifics behind his release will likely determine just how quickly they make a move to bring him onto their roster.UPDATE 4:33 p.m. ET: Giants General Manager Jerry Reese confirmed the move in a statement from the team. “We made the move today in the interest of both parties,” Reese said.definitely worth a look, depending on the specifics
