http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12507975/significant-replay-rules-changes-proposed-owners-meetings-next-week Full list at the bottom of the article. I'd like to say I'm surprised, but it's more accurate to say I'm disappointed that absolutely no action was taken by Lovie, Licht or the powers-that-be to even try to address the totally unfair situation that cost us the Rams game last season. If you forgot, we were driving for the winning score and Evans caught a pass that put us in field goal range, but came up injured, and because we were out of timeouts, the ref ran off the rest of the clock and we couldn't run another play. It's complete BS because this blatantly encourages players to hurt players in final-drive situations. The rule should be either taken off the books completely, or at minimum, the team with the injured player should be given an option to take a penalty instead of a run-off, because at least for us, a penalty would have still left us with an opportunity to win.
