Glennon's performance today was atrocious. It looked like one long blooper real. I thought I heard clown music every time the offense was on the field. Forget the "rookie" excuse. he just sucks. I want a new QB.
Man, he's had a tough stretch, but today's game is a hard one to judge him on. I don't think he looked near as bad as some of you all did. He was just getting no protection.
Did we reach that conclusion at the 6th or 7th sack?
I told people not to get their hopes up on this guy.He gives away too much body language and then does it over and over. He stands in the pocket way too long, and when he does throw his motion is much to wide or not nearly quick enough.Part of it is coaching, part of it is obviously the line, but glennon is only average, so it's amplified when those two issues arise.
There's no legitimate way to judge a QB when they've been under the pressure Glennon has the past few weeks. Factor in he's a rookie, a pure pocket passer, and has one legit target to throw to and I'm surprised things aren't even worse. The o-line is clearly our biggest priority at this point, I expect Penn to be cut loose pretty quickly when the season ends.
I think that there is more of an argument that he isn't the answer. That said, I think the most frustrating thing is how do you know whether or not this inept staff is holding him back a little.
We can't judge him until were have ten pro bowlers on offense around him. It's not fair.

That's info that can be used against him.People talked a lot about looking off the defense when free was here, but i'm not seeing that with glennon either. Hope everyone heard the coaches show tonight. A caller called in and asked if we are going to keep with the 13/ 14 play drives next year with running the ball. Coach indicated that we have had chances to take shots down field, but for whatever reason those plays didn't work or something to that nature. He went on to say when we run the ball and it works everyone is happy, but when it doesn't work out we are screaming, not in those exact words, but basically what he said. I see the same old thing next year "old school" pound the rock. Those days were great when we had Nickerson, Lynch, Barber and Barber and others and could muster up 10 points to win games. Coach- YOU MUST NOT BE STUBBORN AND CHANGE- DO SOME SOUL SEARCHING IN THE OFFSEASON PLEASE IF YOU ARE BACK!!Glennon WILL NOT get us to the big dance plain and simple anyone who thinks he can get ready to have another long season- sure he will win games, but does he scare anyone? does he confuse defenses? This kind of strategy or game plan will not work for the entire season! The league unfortunately has changed to a pass happy format. Yes controlling the clock is still necessary at times, but "mark my words" when we play Breese, Ryan,Rogers and others- high powered offenses they will adjust and get sick of the "lets take multiple plays and minutes off the clock and hope the other team does not figure it out". yeah to them that kind of ball is boooooring and they will just sit back and carve us up like xmas prime rib, turkey or ham. Those teams will take 4 or 5 plays to score. Yep march right down the field on us- I can't tell you how much it would frustrate me when we were still in games, and we would just sit on the damd ball and run run pass punt up the middle up the middle and get stuffed when the game was on the line with about 8 or 9 minutes to go. That has to change next year to a more hurried offense and taking more than just a shoe here and there. We NEED to confuse defenses! I did not hear anything, but the same ol excuses tonight with all due respect. stubbornness and not changing the way the league has changed will keep us in the cellar and embarrassed!!! I want answers not EXCUSES!!!! ENOUGH ALREADY COACH WE KNOW YOU WANT TO WIN, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR OLD SCHOOL MENTALITY!!!, WE HAVE SOME OF TALENT AND IF YOU ARE BACK NEXT YEAR WE HAD BETTER MAKE THE PLAYOFFS WITH THE PEOPLE WE HAVE AND WILL DRAFT TO INCLUDE A QB TO COMPETE FOR THE NUMBER 1!!! Look at the pack the lions and the bears still in the hunt with......................you guessed it back up QB's AND they are teams with the exception of the bears that can score at will AND run the ball!!!!As always GO-BUCS!! Thank you only. I try to be all the time, but my passion for this game, the local fans, and this team sometimes get the better of me. We deserve better imo.
