so who’s bright idea was it to have Godwin in the game towards the end? Maybe I am missing the point of why he was still playing. The stupidity of Todd Bowles is off the charts with this one.
As an athlete you want to play and help your team.
Every starter was playing
Anyone can get injured at any time
hindsight's always 20/20.
Obviously it sucks and I feel for Chris(tho I know the public is upset about their fantasy teams..myself included)
It is what it is sadly. I just hope he hasn’t played his last game for us.

fantasy team? that injury ended the Bucs season. Bucs have little chance to win next week against the Falcons. Who will be catching the ball? Pencil in Chiefs, 49ers, Chargers, Cowboys, and Saints as losses as well. Best case scenario - 8-9 and this time it wont be good enough to win division as Falcons will have tiebreaker
The Bucs were chasing stats i suppose. The score was 34-10. The starters should have been removed at that point. Hooray, we put up 30+ points again! but at what cost.
The score was 34-10.
I agree there was no reason for the starters to be in on the last drive, but I would have been pretty livid if Bowles pulled his starters with 2:53 left in the third quarter. Hell, if the defense would have been able to get a stop after White's first TD in Q4, they could have made it a game with ball down two scores with 9-10 minutes left in the game.
Once Baltimore got it to 41-18 with 6 minutes left, the game was over. The starters should have been pulled there.

fair enough. Not going to argue semantics that we would have been able to come back down 24 points (3 touchdowns, 3 2 pt conversions) with Lamar having his way with the defense all night.
Certainly agree with you that at 41-18, what the hell are we doing.
what a brutal night. i haven't felt this bad since the Saints 9-0 loss where they took out Godwin and Fournette in our Superbowl repeat year. Felt we still had a shot that year with AB. This year, just feel hopeless. The offense is going to struggle to move the ball now and Baker may compete with Winston for the 30 for 30 club
If we had hit them with that furious 4th quarter offensive mindset/attack in the 2nd quarter, if we had played aggressively in the passing game, earlier - we may not have gotten behind and it may have been more competitive.
Risking everyone in what was an obvious lost cause cost us two receivers, an up & coming safety, exposed our defense, and destroyed our season.
There was no way this defense was going to contain the Ravens offense - our only hope was to outscore them on points, early. When it hit away from us in the 4th - there just wasn’t a reason to expose Chris & Baker to that onslaught.
The score was 34-10.

Perfectly sumed up
Trading for Mike Williams seems like an obvious choice for me. Give em 6th and make em eat most of the contract.
I'd also consider Hopkins as a possession receiver but he looks pretty cooked
I don’t think anyone can predict injuries unless the guy is already injured. If you’re Godwin you also want stats to get paid and a chance to win, just unfortunate really sad to see Godwin have another IR season. If it’s just a dislocation no fracture no nerves, just ligaments that’ll be best case scenario

Evans was already injured and they had him out there limping around. It's unfathomable that they didn't have the foresight to save him for the Falcons game which was infinitely more important.

100%
Yea they prob should let Mike off unless he wanted to stay it was 10-7 at the time and still winnable

Completely agree. A loss to an AFC team isn't the worst thing in the world. Losing your #1 WR for multiple weeks, including a game that may be a must-win vs. Atlanta, is significantly worse.
Hell, I thought they were playing him too much vs. New Orleans last week when he was hobbling around.
this is year of terrible decissions, let‘s hope for a change, godwin stays, bowles goes and coen becomes a HC. as long as he can do that, of course
no unnecessary lavonte INT vs. falcons, no evans risk 6 days before crucial clash for the south and no godwin staying in the game any longer than necessary we are 5:2 team that walks into the playoffs. now we are 4:3 and our playoff chances are smaller than ever since TB12 came here.

Got to admit. Your LVD INT comment made me chuckle out loud
In a season that will most likely end with a losing record, the end of Godwin and Evans (Father Time will win now!) and Bowles remaining head coach because “injuries”; LVD getting an INT is not even a thought lol
