Things will change with free agency and I will do another of these before the draft. But for now, here is my round one mock draft.1. Texans- Clowney. The obvious pick. The defensive end with the highest potential of any prospect........ever............is the choice.2. Rams TRADE with Browns Browns- Bortles. After seeing this year's QB's side by side at the combine, Bortles has elevated himself over the others and Cleveland is keen.3. Jaguars- Bridgewater. They believe in Bridgewater. It's an easy choice.4. Browns TRADE with Rams. Rams- Watkins. Step one of their plan to rule the first round of this draft is in effect. Plus they picked up a 2nd and 3rd.5. Raiders- Mack. Intrigued by his upside and fit as the joker in their defense, the Raiders take the freakish Mack off the board.6. Falcons- Robinson. No surprise here. The Falcons have an awful OL.7. Bucs TRADE with Rams. Rams- Matthews. Their first round is a major haul, bringing in their top two players. 8. Vikings- Evans. Minnesota needs to give whoever their QB is going to be some weapons. 9. Bills- Ebron. Keeping with this theme, the elite weapons are coming off the board early. 10. Lions- Gilbert. With the top WRs gone, Detroit decides to electrify it's defensive backfield.11. Titans- Barr. The Titans grab their Joker.12. Giants- Jernigan. Giants address their weak interior DL.13. Rams TRADE with Bucs. Bucs- Donald. Bucs get one of the most impressive 3 techniques to come out of college in a long while and also pick up an extra 2nd and 6th round pick. 14. Bears- Ealy. The Bears tend to reach here for the second best 4-3 DE.15. Steelers- Martin. Martin has the versatility to play tackle or guard. The Steelers need both.16. Ravens- Mosely. A great fit for their defense.17. Cowboys- Shazier. The Cowboys need to build a great defense under Marinelli. Aaron Donald or Ryan Shazier are the logical choices here...but Donald is gone.18. Jets- Benjamin. The Jets seem to have reached for Benjamin here, but they are desperate for a no.1 WR who can stretch the field and win jump balls. 19. Dolphins- Lewan. Dolphins pick up the top RT here.20. Cards- Carr. In need of a franchise QB, the Cards choose Carr over JFF.21. Packers- Pryor. In need of safety help, the Packers score here.22. Eagles- Clinton-Dix. Eagles jump on one of the highest rated safeties here.23. Chiefs- Sua Filo. In need of interior OL, the Chiefs grab their top-rated.24. Bengals- Fuller. Bengals go after a guy who can start and compete right away. probably the best corner in the draft if healthy.25. Chargers- Nix. Chargers plug the middle with this monster of a player.26. Browns- Hyde. Some teams never learn. The Browns make the same mistake twice, but this time they score the real deal.27. Saints- Verrett. A very good corner who should be able to start soon.28. Panthers- Cooks. The Panthers need to replace Steve Smith. They just did.29. Patriots- Hageman. Just missing out on Nix, the Pats eye a kid with room to grow on his massive 6'6" frame. 30. 49ers- Lee. Unexpectedly, Lee is still on the board...and SF can not resist.31. Broncos- Tuitt. Denver gets a big bodied interior OL with massive upside.32. Seahawks- Beckham Jr. Needing to replace Golden Tate won't be easy......wait, yes it was.
