and if we draft a guy, Trask could be good in the Ryan griffin role
that said, depending on how the offseason plays out, if asked today, I wouldn’t say he’s guaranteed a roster spot.

The season wasn’t over tho, it just seemed so at the time.
Of course it wasn’t.
That’s the thing Badadingdong (nor his drunk driving sidekick) won’t admit.
He wanted to give Trask a shot because:
- He had zero idea how he’d perform in real game time and wanted to see
- Baker wasn’t getting it done
Which, ultimately is what a lot of us wanted.
That’s when the litigating lush went on his multi-month, drunken, string posts of disingenuous comparisons between Baker and Brady, insinuating anyone that wanted to see Trask in live fire was a “Gator/Trask” honk, Evans wasn’t a true #1 WR, and so on and so on.
Ultimately, Baker played well enough (with an elite game and another good one) to lead the team to top finish in one of the worst divisions in football and a playoff win against an old rival who had one of the biggest internal collapses of the last decade.
So, now the future looks to be Baker and Bowles.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m more concerned about how we go about building the rest of the team via the draft and minimal free agency. And, hopefully, the elimination of the backloaded deals we’ve been doing since the Brady era.
