give me the guy with the most wins and best winning % in the playoffs
So, you would much rather have Dilfer (5-1) than Marino (8-10).
Noted.
Depends on what you mean by “elite” - only QB’s that demonstrate they can make those around them, better, while winning games they should, and keeping their team engaged/poised to win games they shouldn’t, and eventually beating teams they should not.
by that qualification: Baker’s done it once, almost twice, with two different teams. Kirk definitely doesn’t fit that bill, and I’m struggling with Dak.
pretty subjective, overall.
Pretending not to know the context of the conversation, leaves you all sorts of wiggle room. Like listing a bunch of QB’s that weren’t available, allows me to infer that you meant Baker Mayfield was our best option, and that you acknowledged it.
So, now that I’ve answered your question, you can answer one for me.
Out of Baker’s 6-year career, how many “elite” seasons has he had?
about as many as Prescott, Cousins, Herbert… I might have missed one too.
Dude...
4k+ seasons:
Cousins - 7/12
Prescott - 3/8
Herbert - 3/4
Mayfield - 1/6 (this year - 4,044 yards in 17 games)
30+ TD seasons:
Cousins - 3/12
Prescott - 3/8
Herbert - 2/4
Mayfield - 0/6
65.0+ Completion Percentage:
Cousins - 9/12
Prescott - 7/8
Herbert - 4/4
Mayfield - 0/6
Dude...
LOL
Playoff victories?
Super Bowls?
Your stats are nothing more than meaningless worthless tripe
Now compare rosters.... and please, center on WR's
The constant defense of your man is commendable, Mrs. Mayfield. Naturally, you have nothing to offer but excuses at every turn. But it's admirable nonetheless.

There he goes. Different circumstances. Referring simply to three quarterbacks in question- Prescott, cousins and mayfield.
from a contract view point (projected 25-33M for mayfield), and current three that are active, yes I’d prefer mayfield on the Bucs over the other 2 choke artist , but go ahead and bring up a YA tittle stat there Debby 😏

Dilfer? with the rest of the Ravens? I think maybe thats 3 or 4 of those wins.
Good example of the past NFL and QBs, maybe the future too
but go ahead and bring up a YA tittle stat there Debby 😏
have to admit thats funny
Well, the kid is only 28…2 seasons younger than Dak, and 7 younger than Kirk.

And we’re comparing the first guy to get Cleveland to a playoff game in a couple decades.
Skewed data is fun.

Biggs, didnt you want to start Trask IN OCTOBER, send Mayfield to the bench, no playoffs etc.?

I think the Dilfer comparison to Kirk Cousins is spot on.
In fact, not many would agree that Prescott or Cousins are appreciably better than Baker Mayfield.

No way this poster is serious, but he has contributed to an enjoyable read, and provided this member a couple of chuckles. A tip o' the hat to ya...
Nice & concise, with context, and humor to drive home the point.give me the guy with the most wins and best winning % in the playoffs

This IS fun.
Depends on what you mean by “elite”…
So, the answer is zero.
Everyone (well…almost) already knew that, but appreciate the clarification regardless.
well there are between 2 and 7 data sets missing. But I’m glad you can appreciate the total body of work.In fact, not many would agree that Prescott or Cousins are appreciably better than Baker Mayfield.

and to be quiet serious: you’re saying you would take Dak and Kirk over Mayfield?
A recent poll of Cowboy fans would be hard pressed to sell that one.…and please do help make the case for Kirk.
Well, the kid is only 28…2 seasons younger than Dak, and 7 younger than Kirk.
And we’re comparing the first guy to get Cleveland to a playoff game in a couple decades.
Is this you recanting that Mayfield has as many elite seasons as Cousins, Prescott, and Herbert? It's a weird way to say it.
Your other option is to attempt to answer the question posed to you: "Out of Baker’s 6-year career, how many “elite” seasons has he had?" It would be a fool's errand, but knock yourself out.
Skewed data is fun.
The four QB's statistics is skewed data? Again, the data is the data. It's only "skewed" to those with inferior opinions, which the data destroys those inferior opinions - leading to excuses.
