Panthers
DE Burns, OT Little, QB Grier, DE Miller, RB Scarlett, OT Daley, WR Godwin
Burns pick along with Miller shows the Panthers are doubling up on pass rushers. Good value with both picks so the Panthers can continue bringing heat on defense. Little and Daley picks show that they are trying to protect Cam. I think Little was a reach IMO though and the value wasn't ideal. Scarlett and Godwin add more weapons for the Panthers and are good fits with what the Panthers do on offense.
Grier is a toss up. Grier is good value if he needs to play this year due to Cam's shoulder or if he is the future starting QB. But if Cam earns a third contract from the Panthers then taking a QB in the third is not good value. That has always been my belief that a QB taken in the third is viewed as a potential starter at the NFL level.
Overall grade B-
Saints
IOL McCoy, S Gardner-Johnson, S Hampton, TE Mack, LB Ellis
I like the Saints draft overall. Despite limited picks they came away with three players that can contribute immediately.
Overall grade C+
Falcons
OG Lindstrom, OL Mcgary, CB Sheffield, DE Cominsky, RB Ollison, CB Miller, WR Green
I like Lindstrom as as prospect but is he worth a top 15 pick? LBs, Guards and Safties picked in the top fifteen need to be near or at Pro Bowl caliber year 1 to justify their selections that high. The rest of the picks are good value overall. For a team that feels that they have enough talent and needed to address OL they accomplished what they wanted to do. You do have to wonder if they have went overboard investing on the OL but time will tell.
Overall grade B-
My quick thoughts are that the rest of the NFCS teams found decent value for the most part despite picking at the bottom of several rounds. It feels like the Bucs picking higher should have came away from this draft with better value. We will know how this shakes out in three years time.
