Being everyone except our GM knew this would be a very deep year for DT's in the draft we selected Vita Vea (who is gonna be a monster) over Derwin James. Thats all water under the bridge as they say. Here we are at 5th overall in the draft with a handful of absolute studs on the board at DT (Wilkins, Oliver to name couple) but with McCoy apparently returning to Tampa bay what are our primary needs? OL, DE, LB, DB (S/CB).

Greedy Williams is by far and away the most impressive unique CB in this class. He stands out from the rest. There is not a player at any of our positions of need that standout the way he does and separates himself from the pack. We have to find a way to slow down guys like Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, DJ Moore and Michael Thomas.

DE won't be there (Josh Allen). I'm not big on Ferrell at 5 either but I do like his game. We don't need DT with McCoy back. At LB I like Devin White and he would be my 2nd option to Greedy because I do believe there is a gap there between he and Mack Wilson but its not much. I love Wilson and have stated such in other threads.

We gotta take Greedy. Huge position of need. A unique talent far superior to the remaining CB's in this draft. He's got excellent size and speed with the ball skills. The more I think about what our needs are and what players in this draft truly standout from the rest Greedy Williams grows on me. He is the gem of this class at CB which is a position we are desperate to address.

We lock up Greedy and that gives flexibility in R2 to go OL, maybe even LB or safety (S Deonte Thompson or S Nasir Adderley) and really try to fix this secondary once and for all by addressing it with true proven playmakers. We could get through the 2019 with McCoy, Vea and JPP.

Whats your thoughts?
