It's getting curiouser and curiouser the more Gronk stays silent about his plans. OK sure he needs time to think I guess. He's had plenty of time. Even Brady said stuff like "I have to think about it". Gronk's not saying anything.
What is Gronk waiting for? Is he waiting for Brady to do something? Brady already did something. He retired!. So what is Gronk's next move? If he's going to retire, why doesn't he say something about that? If he wants to look around, why doesn't he say that? Why aren't there any rumors about him shopping around? We heard the Bills want him, but that's not coming from Gronk. Of course any team would want him. He can still play at a high level.
The Gronk watch is interesting because of his tie to Brady. If Brady told Gronk "Hey buddy, I am really really retired. Don't wait around for me." then Gronk could move on with his life. But it seems like Brady hasn't told him that.
Honestly, I don't think Gronk is going to follow Brady around like a puppy dog to Buffalo or San Fran or wherever. I just don't see it. Gronk may A) play here in Tampa with or without Brady or B) go where he wants or C) retire. But I don't think he's just going to tag along with Brady anymore. The more time passes with Gronk sitting here working out at One Buc and saying nothing, the more you start to conclude that Brady is possibly coming back to the Bucs.
If Brady returns to the Bucs 2023 season, I pledge not to post on this board for another year.
If Gronk comes back it should upset most of you. Why retire and play again . Retire and play again. Retire and play again for a 3rd time. It is odd to me.
if Brady goes to a competitive team - or LV, Gronk might be interested after his "rest and recovery" year.......maybe he's bored doing USAA and Subway commercials, too.....
Nah. Gronk isn't coming back and neither is Brady.
Brady will only go to a team that has an offensive line that can protect him and run block.
