Nothing to see here everybody. Move along.
Lol
Martin is a great rb. Getting him back is huge. It was good to see the team find some decent guys to give him a rest too. Rainey and James can both play. We had an awful Oline last year. Martin would have gotten well over 1000 yards had he played the whole season and that's behind that line. Rainey a d James played decently when they were able to get the blocking. They made some things happen without the blocking too sometimes. I like our RBs. We can always get other guys but I think we need to put more effort into who we got blocking in front before we invest in another RB. I honestly don't think we need to invest in another rb because I think our guys are pretty good. If Demps can stay healthy we have an amazing blend of RBs. Martin can do it all. Rainey is a poor mans Martin. James is like another Earnest Graham but better I think. If we can block better these guys are gonna tear it up.
Doug averaged 3.6 yards a carry and had one td last year before he got hurt.. Not so impressed.. James behind the same oline averaged 4.9 yards per carry,,, u guys need to get out of Doug's ass
How many screens had Doug taken to the house? How about Cj? And I'd only do it for a plethora of good picks from the giants. I mean u guys can't honestly say that the added picks to build our o line wouldn't be advantageous to our future.. Doug is replaceable get over it!!
I do agree with ur point a lil bit about Doug being slightly overrated. He's def a good player I'm still trying to figure out how much of a gamechanger he is. He was unimpressive and had some terrible hands last year before getting hurt. That's why I was pissed when James got hurt to figure out if it was more the oline or Doug being terrible. But to the highlighted point how many screens have the bucs ever taken to the house? I can't remember the last time we ran a good screen. But trading for cjb is dumb dudes washed up he's been real real average ever since 2000 yards and Doug is way younger then him in rb terms.

Chris Johnson averaged 3.9 yards a carry...

GTFO. You're literally too stupid to insult
Dougie Fresh is good but he's no Adrian Peterson
Don't have much interest in CJ, but Doug is vastly overrated around here. He's a good back. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm not necessarily opposed to trading Martin for a bounty of picks, but no thanks to CJ. He's not worth the headache he brings.

+1 I wish we had rep as I would be giving you some.

^^ This
Doug Martin had nearly 2000 yards from scrimmage as a rookie. He sucked last year on a team that had one of the worst interior lines in the league. He also had the box stacked on him because he played with a QB that couldn't complete 50% of his passes and a rookie QB in his first few games. This isn't basketball here. You don't win games with superstars at the skill position. If you want to go idolize some athlete for being fast then go watch some other sport.
U guys are missing the point!!!!!! All I'm saying is if we can find someone who over values Doug as much as 96.3% of this board does then why wouldn't we trade him he's nothing special.. Cj would be cheaper than u guys think I personally I think will be a good fit for this offense
And mark my words James wilder jr will have a better career than Doug Martin

Pro Bowl, 2000 yards from scrimmage and a 250+ yard rushing day as a rookie... Wilder Jr. will have a lot of catching up to do.I don't overrate Doug but Doug is a damned good back. I would take him over CJ because he's still hungry to play football and all Johnson cares about is clothes and cars at this point.CJ was great before he got paid and after that.... Nothing special.
