Chris Johnson is a worthless thug who hasn't done anything since 2009. He will still cost more than Doug Martin would. You know he's only making a million dollars next year. The vet minimum for Chris Johnson would be 810,000. It's very unlikely that he will be cheaper than Martin.

Most fans around the NFL would recognize that. So there are Bucs fans who think he is a top 5 back, big deal. It's not as if people are saying he is on an Adrian Peterson level. To dump DM right now would not be wise....well unless it were for a few 1sts or a 1st and a 2nd in the same year, then it would at least be worth a thought. He still should have about 4-5 years of really good play on him, and he really could take a step forward in his third year.As far as the "Wilder is better" stuff. Ridiculous. Have we seen Wilder play? Yup, in college against ACC competition. We have seen Doug in the NFL with major production as a rookie, and did so with a below average OL and a below average QB. The arrow is pointing up on Martin. The same cant be said for CJ, and all Wilder is, is potential.
D'Anthony Thomas is a guy who can do damage in space. Wonder why he isn't this year's Tavon Austin? He is super fast and takes hits well for such a small kid.
Ok so one pretty good year by martin and a terrible and hurt year last year and u guys are putting him in the hall of fame.. I gotta agree with Chace - if you can trade Doug for multiple high picks - go for it. If not, hold onto him. Cj2K? No thanks. RB whose game is based on speed who turns 29 this year and rushed for 3.9ypc last year. Wilder? Really? I actually agree 100% that Doug Martin is extremely overrated. But James Wilder Jr? Didn't he choose FSU because every other offer he had was to play LB? Look I have no horse in this race but I think it is incorrect to say Wilder was a better high school RB prospect.
