And thanks to the unions who fought to get us this day along with 8-hour work days, fair pay, safe workspace, and tremendous leverage and influence to collective bargain.

Unions, I know you get a bad rap and perhaps rightfully so... humans a greedy little suckers that tend to abuse power whenever we can.
But I am still thankful that I'll never have to endure the working conditions that generations before fought to eradicate.
For that I am thankful.
