All the best to you and yours on this special day! The debate has been filled with fervor and passion on both sides to the point of running it into the ground. I don't imagine it ending completely anytime soon but at least phase 1 of the debate is over tonight. There will be some that will never accept or agree with drafting Jameis tonight, and you know what? That's ok. For the more pragmatic fans, they'll quickly go back to rooting for the jersey and not the individual. For the most rabid and passionate (and potentially insane), it's going to take lots and lots of winning. This is a historic moment in our beloved franchise's history, and I couldn't be more excited about the future. The Bucs have never once, not one time, had a QB that made it to a 2nd contract. They've never had a guy that can make the players around him better at the QB position. Can Jameis be that guy? Time will tell but I'm very optimistic. In my opinion, in a few years all of us are going to look back at today as the beginning of the turnaround of this team to relevance and respectability (similar to the Sapp and Debo draft). While I don't think the winning will happen right away, it will put the Bucs back on the national map right away and that can only help moving forward. I look forward to celebrating success with all Bucs fans in the near future, and I sincerely hope the haters will rejoin the rest of the fan base in time as well. Today is going to be a special day for this franchise and I am happy to share it with all of you!
