Has Your Job Ever Been on the Line

Can you imagine any scenario where, you are essentially coaching for your job with every decision you make? You have to succeed or, just like that, you are relegated to the unemployment line, probably with no chance to become a head coach again.

I bring this up to say, that as a manager, I build on one thing and one thing only, success. You have to acknowledge your failures (cough Mike Smith), but you are building repetitively on things that are working. So why is the idea that Fitzpatrick will start Sunday, who has been a huge success, such an elusive on to so many fans here in Tampa.

It's well documented that I am a huge Winston supporter. But to think that Koetter has some "big picture" plan that includes giving any fucks about anything outside of success right now, would be foolhardy. If Jameis starts, it's because the owners are forcing that to happen. No way, no how, is Winston getting the start on Sunday outside of that.

More cogently put "Hey, our starting QB has passed for 400+ yards the first three games of the season, something no QB prior to him has ever done in the history of the league........let's start someone else....derp...."
