In. that ESPN powr rankign the NFC is
Eagles
Lions
Commanders
Rams
Packers
Vikings
Bucs
On the surface, this is fair.
Lions need to overcome new coordinator
Commanders have to keep Daniels healthy with a year of tape
Rams have a very old team at skill positions and I'll be shocked if Kyren Williams stays healthy.
Packers are massively overrated but have a good enough coach to win 8-11 games
Vikings have to run with a rookie QB. Aaron Jones a year older. Winning all their close games.
Bucs have an older Evans and Godwin coming off injury. The defense got marginally better but we have the worst head coach of the group.
NFC looks wide open to me.
I think Cardinals are a sleeper next year.
top 5 offenses chase Daniels
My Top 5 NFC Offenses: (Post Draft) 1) Eagles 2) Lions 3) Rams 4) Commanders 5) Bucs
There is an overreaction to the Commanders in my opinion. I really like their team but they with the offseason and so much reliance last season on Daniels, I think they fall back a bit. The Lions had their wide opened window last season and couldn't stay healthy. They fall back a bit as well as they adjust to a new OC and all the other off-season player/personel losses. Saquan won't hit last years #s but I do think the Eagles adjust for that. They deserve to be the clear favorites in the NFC (we do own them though). Rams will always be scrappy. I think it's Philly, Rams, Tampa in the NFC this season.

this is one of the fascinating stories of the upcoming season.
I imagine new QBs should fall back some when their is a bunch of film now, but will Daniels? He showed signs of being pretty special last season, but can he do it again? I hope not.
Yeah, not sure either. Is he more like Lamar Jackson? Did Lamar slip in his 2nd season? A mobile QB that can manipulate defenses similarly to Lamar Jackson, that has added options & protection, is an unknown.I really like their team but they with the offseason and so much reliance last season on Daniels, I think they fall back a bit.

I hope there’s enough tape on him and that our defensive upgrades are as good (better?) as we think they were! And one of the best offenses in the league over the last 2 years has been given additional tools. Theres depth at all critical positions…

Agreed on commanders. I'm taking the under on their win total most likely.
Lions I think win 12 games still... Bears get better.
Rams are a tough one for me and I see them having the biggest potential range of wins from 7 wins to 12 wins.
I'm with you guys on the Commanders. Daniels had a C J Stroud-like rookie season. Rookie Stroud and the Texans won a few games they had no business winning. I saw the same with Daniels and the Commanders. Stroud and the Texans fell back the next season. I think the Commanders also take a step back this season. Looking at their schedule, I think they're going to be 10-7 at best, they have a tough road schedule.
Bucs finished last season top 5 and we’re still there

It helped that Dallas imploded but that isn't going to happen again. I am not sure what Giants team shows up but the Cowboys have too much talent to be down and out. Their lines are top notch along with the Eagles.
Yeah, I figured they split with the Cowboys, sweep Giants, and lose both to the Eagles. 3-3 in division.

It's only $50M.
You’re right, I quoted Aumen’s initial take. Just add that to the spinach they’ve been stuffing in their can & kicking down the road.Thats an $80mil cap hit gift, severely limiting.Saints QB Derek Carr is retiring

They’re going to be cracking that can open and eating a steady diet of spinach for years.
way too early but still good to see
"While Parrish was one of the top performers in the rookie mini-camp, outside linebacker David Walker, the team’s fourth-round pick, was the best player on the field. Even Bowles said that on Friday. Walker dazzled with his explosive get-off, twitchiness, and ability to bend and pursue the quarterback. He had a pressure on Parrish’s first interception. The team is very excited about Walker’s ability and feel like Tampa Bay got a steal in the fourth round."
