Not sure if many of you have thought about this......but this board.....this coming season...........will be seeing something that so many of you have never seen here, that you most likely don't think about it too much........and it's one of the coolest things about a Football Board.I ask you all........to bring your "A" game when making posts and threads.I say that because I fully expect this board to be inundated by something it has not seen for over a decade... OTHER TEAMS FANS. Mark my words.......the WILL be coming.... mostly because of Winston.......but also I think.......because we're going to be a much better team. You know your team is relevant.......when they start showing up.We'll have a mix of haters........along with a much smaller group of other team fans that may just stick around (those people usually are quality football fans and good posters)The point is.......it can either be a blast.........or absolute hell. If some of you are going to insist on making thread like " Winston will break all records this year"..... or "super bowl here we come".... you're going to get called out on in early and often by the fans of other teams.....and in some cases....... whipped around in circles like a wet towel....so be prepared to state your case ............and defend it. Nobody here is going to come to your defense if you sound like a 13 year old casual fan or homer. some hides will be chapped. the greatest defense is a good working knowledge of the game........and the art of satire and sarcasm. don't let them bait you.........ever.The ones that will show up just to troll the board or worse will most likely be Mod issues......but I'm looking forward to some fresh blood here, representing other teams........rather than what this board has had for years........which is far too much homerism........and unchecked casual fans.It should be a blast...... there is an art form to handling other team fans......and for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about....you will soon. I'm looking forward in having some fun with them....... ... I hope some of the other top one precenters, Legends, and Top Tier cats here, will join me in having some fun with the "visitors".
