Had the Atlanta Falcons beaten the San Francisco 49ers on Monday evening, Arizona would have hosted the Niners in Week 17 with the winner moving on to the postseason. Things looked good for Arizona until an interception in the final minutes secured a victory for San Francisco, allowing them to clinch a postseason birth. That has left the Cardinals rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who must beat the New Orleans Saints this weekend for Arizona to potentially make the postseason. What would be really funny is if the Bucs pull off the upset but the Cards lose to San Francisco.
Weird thing is, that crap roughing call on Clayborn in week 2 has turned into a complete butterfly effect on the current NFC playoff picture.

Cards have a nice team, and I don't think anyone would want to face them in the playoffs, as hot as they are right now. What would our season have looked like now, with Carson Palmer at QB from game 1, and Freeman gone before the season?

That was a pretty good game too. Palmer had a hell of a game, brought them back to tie it, then they lost on a last second field goal. They had more fight in them than our bunch.

I have a few Seahawks and Niners friends. And they did NOT want to see the Cards in the playoffs.
