Now that Carolina has Bridgewater and PJ Walker, the only team I see taking Herbert would be Miami and the Chargers. Miami is rumored to want Tua, while the Chargers could opt for Cam Newton or potentially Jordan Love. The Jags know that unless Minshew turns into Brett Favre this season, they will be in range for Trevor or Nick Fields in 2021, so I doubt they go QB.
So, if Justin Herbert is available at 14, with all of the OTs gone as well as Javon Kinlaw and Derrick Brown, would you be okay with drafting Herbert and letting him sit behind the GOAT for 2 years a la Aaron Rodgers 2005. The value of getting a potential long term QB at 14 is immense, and the experience of learning how Brady prepares, works, studies, and plays the game will help Justin be a top QB in 2022 and beyond.
