While many have gone Bucs Playoff Bound Crazy, I told anyone who would listen that the game Sunday against The Dallas Cowboys would tell me a lot. It was not about necessarily us winning but about how we came "after it".
Firstly,
I blame the coaches.
Letting your right tackle get his lunch eaten is unreal. Put in someone to help him.
Not activating Jacquizz Rodgers unless he is hurt is retarded because he runs harder than Martin who is hugely overrated as a runner. He has no burst anymore and frankly goes down way to easily.
Not Blitzing more often was silly as Lavonte David gets caught up in the wash so often I am gonna rename him TIDE. Either he doesn't have a high football IQ or they are coaching him poorly. He lacks speed he used to have and is outplayed by Kwon every game. I don't want to hear scheme nonsense. How many forced mbles does he get trailing runners? Enough said. The guy studies under the Gerald McCoy "I got paid" and let me play half the game program.
I don't want to hear it was close. They missed 2 field goals.
McCoy did his Houdini act and was unable to find a way to break up a pass or even make a tackle. Guy is sorely overrated. His pregame speech made me choke. Why not talk about getting the win and not about getting headlines? Part of the me first problem on the team is HIM.
Secondly,
Our Oline was not making it happen. Blocking schemes were ineffective and guys flat out missed blocks. Some big plays were simply blown up by missed assignments.
Thirdly,
Winston just started slow and was inaccurate. I won't blame him but he had a hand in the defeat missing wide open receivers on deep balls AGAIN.
Finally,
Josh Huff just isn't making plays on Kickoffs. He lacks good decision making. He ran out of the endzone a couple times lately when I was like "NOOOOOOO".
I think the team plays sometimes with great focus and imagination and other days or nights they just don't. I think we have some slugs on this team. I am not sold.
Think they read their headlines too much and frankly McCoy gave a horrid pre-game talk. is talk is why we lose.
He and David are not performing to standard for the money they make.
