It’s not that easy. McDaniel is likely taking his time with all the head coaching opportunities still available.

Robert Saleh also just got hired in Tennessee, so that will hurt any chances Bucs had at him.

I honestly don’t think McDaniel is a complete home run hire either. Everyone’s all excited about him being Bowles successor? Why? His tenure in Miami was mediocre. He didn’t appear to be a good leader, always joking trying to be the funny guy. I think he brings a weak mentality and culture.

Some guys are just not head coach material.

The former Arizona Cardinals OC?

Yeah. His offense lead the league in pass attempts and dead last in rush attempts in 2025.

Is the loon still string-posting about this inarguable fact 16 hours later? It's possible that's a new record. I'll get the interns on it.

Way to man up, Biggs!

DARLINGTON - “Of coordinator jobs that Mike McDaniel has interviewed for, the Lions gig was the least likely to materialize,” Darlington tweeted on Monday. “Campbell liked McDaniel a lot, but Lions didn’t view it as quite the right fit for them.”

A Lions person speculates that McDaniels run game is more speed and "gimmick" where Campbell prefers power.

McDaniel's "speed" approach sure seemed a fit with Gibbs.

Good for the Bucs though, I guess

Who would you rather have at QB?  A soft-tissued Tua or Baker?  Asking for a friend.
