This is going to hurt to hear it, but the truth is what it is.
Everybody has beat the 'must-win' drum like a dead horse. The coaches are in the hot seat. The GM is in the hot seat. Well shit... what about the QB?
Unless Jameis takes a huge leap forward, he's a poor man's Donovan McNabb. If he doesn't morph into a great decision maker and cut down the turnovers this season, it's highly unlikely he ever wins a championship.
Just calling it how I see it. If he never gets better than what he's been the first three years, he isn't good enough. Our offense is way too talented to ever stumble. Imagine Brady or Rogers or Brees with these weapons...
I'm not saying he's a bust yet. I'm just not counting on a chicken that's yet to hatch. If he doesn't make strides in 2018, as far as turnovers and wins, then I'm banging down the doors of One Buc demanding a new quarterback for 2019.
Anyone who wishes to counter my opinion, feel free. Just know that your only condoning the mediocrity that has left us desperate for a sniff of postseason football.
