Let's assume that the adage holds true and that the biggest leap of improvement for a QB comes from year one to year two.  If that's the case I think we can say that we have our QB, one that has the skill and tenacity to compete with most every defense he faces.RB - I think it's a foregone conclusion that we resign Doug.  Unless I am missing something as it relates to the market for Doug I think we will be able to give him more than he could get elsewhere and, returning a top 5 RB to the Tampa backfield. Would love to see more of Rainey as well.  Obviously, Simms has a great role in this O and should improve slightly with Koetter in year two.OL - young, congealed, with an old anchor.  Can we get another year out of Mankins?  We certainly need to draft an OL or two but don't think we should bite in the first unless Tunsil falls for some unforeseen reason. We could be on the cusp of a really good Oline.  WR looks to be a good position but we could certainly get some help here in FA or the draft or both. Both Evans and Jackson have 1000+ yards next season if healthy.  If we can find a TE that jives with Jameis (Brate), and a strong #2/3 receiver, our O should basically be set for a little while.  DL - It's just not very good anyway you look at it.  I am trying to stay positive with GMAC but, his act is wearing thin.  He needs to be healthy and our DL needs to look worse when he is not out there.  I hope if we draft a DL in the draft with our 9 pick that it's not the fourth one taken.  LB - as athletic as it gets.  I think Smith will have a field day with our LBs.  He seems to fit talent to scheme and we have two of the most talented young LBs in the game in Kwon and David.  Secondary - I am not sure there is a worse one in the league. To learn that Moore may be gone is a bit disconcerting.  But 5'10" 4.55 CB shouldn't be the cornerstone of any secondary I suppose. This is the area that concerns me most.  Our inability to get off the field on third and long is mind numbing.  Hopefully through FA and the draft we can get three to four capable bodies to compete for spots here.I think we have a SB caliber offense if coached properly and we improve in the red zone.  I think we will get SB quality coaching on the defensive side of the ball as well. Can we make a legitimate run next season or should we set our sights on something closer to mild improvement like 9-7 or 10-?
