With camp coming to a close and with Preseason now rolling along, I'm starting to feel pretty strongly about our Defense this season. We have great coaches in Fraizer and Lovie, and also have a good amount of young talent who could really come into their own this season. I could see Barron having a Pro Bowl season and finally living up to his high draft position. Also Banks could very quietly have a rock solid season. McCoy seems like he's ready to have another Pro Bowl season and Clayborne also seems to be coming into his own... The Defense looks very promising in my opinion, and I was curious how you guys here on the Red Board felt about this group?I still am not completely sold on Michael Johnson, and am hoping to see him create some pressure in the game tomorrow night. (I didn't notice him much in Game 1. Did he not play much or was he just not much of a force??) Also I hope to see Mike Jenkins get some playing time, and am curious to see how our linebacking core looks outside of LaVonte, who I'm sure will be rock solid. If we can stay away from injury I really can see us finishing top 10 in Defense. our Offense on the other hand is another story. :P
