The issue with eagles collapse is the rookie wall that jordan davis hit, cox falling off, and the weak linebacker play. So just some ideas
In this game we have to take advantage of the matchups that LBs gives us 1on1 vs White/TE and the times when eagles go into cover their preferred coverage. Concepts I would like to use against the Eagles is the smash and mesh concepts. mesh inbetween the 20s, smash around goalline with Godwin/evans in slot to 1v1 their safety when they go into cover 1. They played cover 1 a whole bunch against us week3 and continue to play it now. If the run game isn't working we don't have to run it to win against these guys. Identifying the safety that is in man and who is covered on is also key to getting free yards cause he plays 10 yards back. All in all really winnable on offense to put up points we just need to execute and call the right man beaters at the right time. Don't forget to throw some rb screens and block the rbs man
On defense we know they like to run from 2 tightend sets, we need to be gap disciplined and the lineman need to hold Kelce so he doesnt get to the second level. They love attacking the corners of the endzone either from over routes or corner routes. Key for us on defense is to stop the run and dont fall into tendencies, I did like the new 3 olb 2ilb looks we gave here and there. Rush plan should be to push the pocket dont let him break it and make hurts beat us with his arm. I dont think this is the best game for Ryanneal to play its a team that has to beat us with the pass and dee delaney can probably play the pass better
I could write much more but I just dont wanna get into and make this 10pages
My biggest worry is the interior of the line we have 2 weaker players there in Hainsey and Mauch who could have our day ruined by Cox and Davis, plays blown up from the middle are the worse
We might be gifted a game against Mariota. Hurts hasn't thrown this week.
Eagles are watching the last few weeks of our tape and are probably thinking this is a "get right" game for their defense.
I'd bet we'll see more C1 than we did the last time we played them.
Outside of a 2-game stretch, Baker was the worst deep-ball passer in the league by a country mile. So, we're going to be limited on offensive options to beat it.
Need to see more tight bunch sets (drive smash concepts and follows if against zone), intermediate crossers, fades from the slot, and more running from 10 personnel.
Baker was one of the lowest graded QB's regarding PA passing (I'm wondering if that's why we're seeing more of him out of shotgun, because we have really gone away from PA recently), but we need to see more of it to try and bring LB's up, or freeze them a bit.
If the Eagles D can get to Baker with only 4, it's going to be a long night.
im thinking
1st down, run up the middle for 2 yards
2nd down, trick play reverse to Devin Thompins run for -4 yards
3rd down, inaccurate throw by Baker on 3rd and 12 but somehow caught by Trey Palmer for 6 yards
4th down - shitty 37 yard punt buy Jake
if we get the Eagles complacent thinking they will dominate after that, we may have a chance to sneak up on them!
I work with an obnoxious Eagles fan (shocking, I know). I sure would like some ammo to fire back at him, but to be honest, I just don't feel too confident about this game. Does anyone have anything for me?

Eagles are the better team, more talented and are favored by 3 on the road
they also beat us by two touchdowns the last time we played
we should not feel confident. the only reason we have a chance is because we are winners of 5 of 6 to end the year while they are in a tail spin at losers of 5 of 6. two different directions but could see us losing by 7 or winning by 10
the best you can probably go at them with is "doesnt matter, winner of this week is getting smacked against the 49ers or Cowboys next week "
They came out how we expected it and we came out thorwing into that cover 1 they got. that mesh was awesome to get david open
Taking advantage of those linebackers otton with 17
Cade Otton
You can’t stop him you can only hope to contain him
the 1on1s with the tightend was there all game and im glad we took advantage
Thanks, zyon mccollum was a difference maker and much better player than Neal, he actually laid wood and played well, his worse play was taking a bad angle on the inside crosser where he stepped out to be eye to eye on the receiver to defend the corner, but the receiver probably optioned inside and caught and yacced about 25 more, but thats just football sometimes u win sometimes u lose just dont lose more than u win
rewathched it wasnt an option just a normal slant and hurts threw into the blitz
