Looking at the palaces being built in LA, Minnesota and Atlanta, how long until the Bucs want to a total replacement for their nearly 20-year old stadium? Pretty amazing that RayJay is 20, I remember working across the street from it while it was being built, but with as much as I like RayJay wow does it look like public housing compared to the country club estates that the stadiums are being built as. Maybe, just maybe, the Tampa Bay area should go backwards on the trend and build a multipurpose football/baseball stadium in the next decade - with a retractable roof. You figure any new stadium is going to be the billion plus range and frankly this area can't support building 2 new stadiums that would cost that much - and certainly the public isn't going to be flipping the bill. Anywho considering the Bucs are putting some money into RayJay and finally upgrading the video boards I don't think we'll hear about this until 2020 or so, but I wonder how this is going to end up. I was born and raised here as here my parents but frankly I don't think this is a 3-pro sports league city, hopefully if we're going to lose a team it's the Rays and not the Bucs or Lightning. If Winston can get this team winning again and live up to his potential it might be he whom gets the next Tampa Stadium built.
