Brady hasnt looked great but he is 45 years old and we have the worst rushing attack in the NFL. Our coaching staff has been out coached all year. None of our wins were convincing wins that made you feel like this was a good team. The worst thing you can do to a 45 year old QB who is not mobile is to NOT RUN THE BALL. Defenses know that we have to pass the ball and our WRs are all the sudden too slow.
Brady will go to 49ers and win the Superbowl next year as a 46 year old non mobile QB. The difference is he will have a real coach who schemes to his players strengths and who ALWAYS has a good running game. The 49ers are playing a 7th round rookie QB and are undefeated since the rookie took over. They whooped our ass in his first start. Imagine Brady on that team.
Bowles will be here next year, but he doesn't necessarily have the whole year. Because there is a retired guy with his name on the side of the stadium who can be the interim coach. Arians won't want to fire Bowles, who he was responsible for getting the job. But Arians won't be the one firing him. He'll just be the one to pick up the pieces. I really hope it doesn't come to that. I think we have a decent defense and we need just an average offense and we can win the division which will once again be terrible. But our offense wasn't even average this year.

A lot of this also goes back to relying on what OLB talent we had instead of adding. I said all offseason that it is a huge mistake to set our hopes on JTS as our book-end to Shaq. JTS is a more athletic Gaines Adams. He will not ever be a player who can apply a consistent pass rush. He isn’t strong enough. And he still cannot set the edge without getting himself out of position by getting up field too much. And when we started putting in 5 Dlinemen (3 DTs and 2 Nelson and JTS/Nassib… yes, these OLBs are not true LBs and that’s what Dallas took advantage of) to stop the run that’s when Dallas killed us with the pass.
