Mancrush? lolz So the answer is no position in 3 years did not need to be rebuilt. Not upgraded. Rebuilt. 3 years, 6 1st/2nd round picks (plus 2nd rounder traded for winslow) and not one position was set when Morris was let go.
What units were "rebuilt"?QB - Unless Glennon shows more, this is a wash. Freeman at his best was better than Glennon at his best so far. O-Line - The only opening day starter on O-Line that wasn't here when Morris was was Carl Nicks, a free agent acquisition. WR/TE - Vincent Jackson, a free agent acquisition, is the only upgrade. This unit is arguably worse as a whole than it was under Morris, even though more attention has been paid to it under Schiano.RB - Rainey was a find. James "might" be too. Martin is good, but so was Blount.D-Line - Hasn't been rebuilt. Hasn't even been upgraded. Jettisoning Michael Bennett was an idiotic Schiano move.LB's- Only one starter was added, and the depth is a wash. David was an upgrade. The unit has not been "rebuit". CB's/Safeties - This unit has been rebuilt, by Dominick tossing tons of cash at it. A luxury Morris didn't have.Once again, olaf overstating things for affect. "THE WHOLE TEAM NEEDED TO BE REBULT! SO MANY MESSES!"
Where have I said that everything has been rebuilt? Deflect, deflect, deflect. You are correct in 2 years the Bucs have not been able to completely rectify the mess that was the morris years. They have subtracted the locker room cancers though. That's a plus. And the team is better off now than it was when rah rah was sent packing.
We had a much needed culture change and added some pieces on defense for the future. Reminds me of what singletary did in san fran. I'm not a schiano hater at all but we may need a new coach to take us to the next level. At least now we have a team that this area can relate to rather than that thug life ,me against the world bs we were dealing with. Fckn rapist drug dealers and "I'm a motha fckn soldier" cab driver beating convicts. Not to mention we had a gay drug addict qb.. thank god for schiano!

I concur

Somehow all those cancers finished with the team's best record in the last eight years and many of them are playing for good teams now.

.354. That is the 3 year total even with the "best record in the last eight years" .......... deflect, deflect, deflect

Somehow all those cancers finished with the team's best record in the last eight years . . . . when measured from somewhere in 2009 to somewhere in 2010, against a below .500 schedule . . . and then leaving off the rest of their tenure . . . . . and many of them are playing for good teams now.
I added the clarity you left off . .
Thankfully we brought in all those non-cancerous players to have a .36667 total winning percentage and .28571 this season. Happy days are here again!

against one of the toughest schedules in football and with a season that began with the Crown Jewel of the Morris era missing the team meal before the first game:you're not so big on context FRG . . are you?(Btw, do you get embarassed comparing a cherry-picked Morris time frame against the entire Schiano time frame? Just curious about that)
I'm glad we had a culture change too....but the fact is we were fortunate enough in the draft to hit on some really good players, we spent some really big money in FA two years in a row to bring in some more really good players, and we have the largest coaching staff in the NFL.....and we are just as bad if not worse than we were under Raheem. Everyone can have their own theories as to why, but that's the fact Jack.

I dont think much of Schiano, but posts like this are funny when you break them down because they are so one-sided:"but the fact is we were fortunate enough in the draft to hit on some really good players" -- discounting the draft as luck "we spent some really big money in FA two years in a row to bring in some more really good players" -- like Eric Wright and Nicks and an injured Revis? Or Gary Gibson?"we have the largest coaching staff in the NFL" - lol" we are just as bad if not worse than we were under Raheem." ---- ROFLMAO"that's the fact Jack" -- ROFLMAO x infinityEven if you accept those comments as FACTS (lol) they are only part of the FACTS . . . .. hell, there's no mention of Freeman as one obvious example

It's mainly luck. No matter who is coach. You are reaching."we spent some really big money in FA two years in a row to bring in some more really good players" -- like Eric Wright and Nicks and an injured Revis? Or Gary Gibson? I'm being biased and one sided but you name the bad without mentioning Revis, Goldson, or VJax?"we have the largest coaching staff in the NFL" - lol That is a fact. You'd think it might lead to us being more prepared on game day...but no." we are just as bad if not worse than we were under Raheem." ---- ROFLMAO You seem to be the only one that can't admit this as the undeniable truth."that's the fact Jack" -- ROFLMAO x infinity Even if you accept those comments as FACTS (lol) they are only part of the FACTS . . . .. hell, there's no mention of Freeman as one obvious example You forgot MRSA. You always go back to the same weaksauce excuses. That was like 3 months ago. What about the last 11 games? Quit being such a d00sh.
Overall a very weak attempt to discredit and deflect from my simple and obviously truthful post.
(Btw, do you get embarassed comparing a cherry-picked Morris time frame against the entire Schiano time frame? Just curious about that)
Feel free to cherry pick the best stretch Schiano has had.

I leave the cherry picking to you . . . . that's sort of YOUR THANG . . . . thanks for finally acknowledging that
How about a much simpler analysis....instead of worrying about rather cat turds taste better than dog turds we admit that they are both turds and both are bad. Rah was a failure, pathetic and utter failure. Rutgers is a more mundane sort of failure but still a failure.
