IMO it doesn't matter who is better than who.  The bottom line, neither got or is getting the job done.  Time to move on, I'm tired of the Schiano experiment.

Was there a part of this team that didn't need a complete makeover when schiano took over?    Punter/kicker/Long Snapper (thanks Calico)?    Anything else?

How did Schiano start 6-4?

Poor attempt at deflection.  Answer the question.

The question is asinine, and the answer irrelevant. Of course the roster needed an overhaul. Morris coached the youngest and cheapest team in the NFL for three seasons in a row.

So you are saying that in 3 years of drafting and developing young players through the draft Morris failed.  Thank you for your confirmation, but he did bring in a punter and a kicker.

So let's say Schiano gets fired after three years like Morris. What exactly is he leaving the next coach that won't need to be rebuilt?

Look at it this way. Look at the rosters of the 2010 team vs this 2013 team, and then realize that the 2010 team would beat this 2013 team. Pretty easy to see who is the better coach.

Freeman played far better in '10 than Glennon in '13. In most games, the best QB wins. Look at Sunday. Kaep made several 5-8 big plays for his team and it was the difference, minus that fumble in our own endzone.

First of all he'll leave a team with a work ethic instead of a locker room full of cancers and quitters.    He'll leave a pretty decent defensive core including David, Barron and Banks along with some role guys that have played well like Spence and Gholston.  On the offensive side of the ball, which is obviously much weaker he'll leave a stud RB in Martin.    Guys like Glennon, James, Wright may or may not pan out.Of course I am leaving out the FA signings since that brilliant "build through the draft" era didn't allow for that.  So LB, DB, and Dline won't need to be rebuilt.  Need to add a strong pass rusher to the DE and could use some more depth, but nothing needs completely overhauled.  Obviously there are more holes on the offensive side of the ball, but RB is in good shape.    If we were strong everywhere we wouldn't be 4-10.*EDIT: And of course this is after year 2.  IF Schiano is here another year, then I expect that there will be less holes for the new coach to address.

QB play is huge for sure.  But if this team was playing the 2013 team in this later part of the season, then this team wins.  Our last 3 losses were to 3 of the best teams in football.  We've beat the last 4 average to below average teams we played and that 2013 team was average.

Freeman played far better in '10 than Freeman in '13 too. That's because Morris got more out of him than Schiano . . .  just ask CBW, he'll tell you its true.

LOL you're listing a bunch of situational players who have barely done anything. Morris drafted a bunch of role players, too. The only genuine stud Schiano has drafted is David. As for Martin, LeGarrette Blount had more 100-yard games in his first two year than Martin has. We all know running backs come and go and can't be counted on.

2010 Freeman engineers a 4th quarter comeback while 2013 Glennon gets sacked and throws incompletions as his team stumbles through another poor 4th quarter.

David, Barron, and Banks are role players?      Blount, Talib, Winslow, and as it turns out Freeman were major locker room distractions.  I don't care if Blount rushed for 2,000 yards, it was addition by subtraction when he and the rest of those guys were sent packing.I answered the question.  The defense will definitely not need to be rebuilt when the new coach takes over and RB is set as well.      Big plus over what Morris left here.

Nah, we beat that team if we played now.

The Bucs are more competitive under Schiano but the end result is the same. Rah somehow coached this team to a 10-6 record where Schiano hasn't been able to even sniff a winning record yet. this comparison is a push IMO, both are/were horrible.

I'd say 7-9 is sniffing, but I won't argue the overall point

What have Banks and Barron done to show they're any more important than Mason Foster and Adrian Clayborn? They're all just a bunch of guys. The Bucs defense has three studs. One drafted by Morris, one drafted by Schiano, and one from a trade. Everyone else are a bunch of guys.
