Good point.. But hey, thanks to you I did learn that rah rah brought us a damn fine long snapper to go with that great kicker and punter combo ;)
Haha. Good point Calico!
We get what you are saying the 4th string RB in New England who is on his 3rd team in 4 years is better than the finalist for rookie of the year and pro bowl alternate. Now answer the question that you two morris nuthuggers keep avoiding.
You don't get anything. Never have. But I digress.Your idiotic, pointless question can be answered simply. There weren't any units that didn't need an upgrade. Funny thing is, if it weren't for the FO deciding to finally open the checkbook when they hired your mancrush, that would still be the case. You think that David, Barron, Martin, and (chuckle) Banks are the main difference makers? Only one of those guys are. The rest of the difference makers are trade and free agent acquisitions....and players that Raheem Morris drafted. Stop making excuses.
Mancrush? lolz So the answer is no position in 3 years did not need to be rebuilt. Not upgraded. Rebuilt. 3 years, 6 1st/2nd round picks (plus 2nd rounder traded for winslow) and not one position was set when Morris was let go.
its all about #5http://media.zenfs.com/en/blogs/sptusfantasyexperts/Yup-he-looks-ready-USAT-Images.jp g" alt="Yup-he-looks-ready-USAT-Images.jpg" class="bbcode_img" />
oh . . and this guy:No matter what they choose to call it, the bottom line is Black plays the position that once belonged to Brooks, which helps explain that pricey new contract. It's the type of deal you give to what you believe is your best linebacker, the leader of your defense and a star on the rise."He's all those things,'' Morris said of Black, who had 88 tackles, two sacks and an interception in 11 games last season. "He's a leader in that linebacker room, and he's a playmaker on the field, because he's an athletic freak."I call him a big Cheetah, because he's a specimen as far as his movement goes, as far as his hands and his ball awareness, as far as his ability to catch the ball. And I like to play to his strengths a little bit.''
What have Banks and Barron done to show they're any more important than Mason Foster and Adrian Clayborn? They're all just a bunch of guys. The Bucs defense has three studs. One drafted by Morris, one drafted by Schiano, and one from a trade. Everyone else are a bunch of guys.
The truth is that Barron and Banks would be far easier to replace than Foster and Clayborn would be, but don't tell olaf that. He needs to believe that everything is better when it's Schianoized.
It's cute to watch you guys all fight each other stubbornly despite the fact you all make valid arguments...That said, I think comparing Barron/Banks to Foster/Clayborn is a decided push. One set is younger and more prone to errors, while the other has a longer history of underachievement. So I guess I'd just have to ask, which coach do you think would/has done a better job coaching these guys up?

Somehow the 4th string) in New England had more 100-yard rushing games his first two years in Tampa than the finalist for rookie of the year and pro bowl alternate.

Actually he's starting
Morris is clearly the better coach of the two.The record alone says as much, and that's not even considering talent.

Yes Morris' .354 winning percentage (even with the fluke that was 2010) says he is a much better coach ....... Schiano's current winning percentage ===== .367
