It was the Pats' DB coach, who was big on Brady - FRG posted it somewhere yesterday. However, I recall reading somewhere else that Gio Carmazzi had more fans in the Pat's war-room. He was taken in round 3. Had he been available when the Pats had wanted him, unlikely that they also would have drafted Brady.

In the book one of the writers from the boston globe did on the Pats he talked about how they had had the same grades on Tim Rattay and Tom Brady. They wanted to draft a backup QB and Brady was taller so they picked him. Better to be lucky than good.
Rolling with Glennon, bringing in an older vet like McCown, and spending our 5th or 7th on a developmental guy is exactly what I want us to do. I like this article.
It seems to me that the new G.M. may want to consider drafting a QB in the first round. With the exception of Brady that list of QB's is dreadful.
I got a strong feeling he will. they are definitely scouting carr and Garrappolo for a reason.
I have the same feeling.... they should really trade back to the teens or 20s to pick up some extra picks before taking Garropolo

Trade with Miami at 19. They need Wr's and a OT. Get's in before the Cardinals at 20.they get nbr 7. We get 19, their 3rd, 4th and a 2015 2nd round pick.Get Garoppolo.
I like Garappolo but with qb being so important wouldn't you want the best one you can get and by all reports Carr is the best at the Senior Bowl.
Is there a Junior Bowl?
The video I've seen isn't equating to the reports from the Senior Bowl practices. I do want the best one, just have a feeling that Carr isn't all that as appears. JMHO.

they really should let any one coming out to play in tthese all star games.

This is EXACTLY right!! so many people get wrapped up in who is better at drafting and picking talent, and at the end of the day A LOT of it is luck!! Nobody knows how a rookie will turn out, all they can go on is their overall body of work etc...Licht has been around some great coaches and organizations, I can't wait to see what he brings to the Bucs
after 35+ years isn't it our turn to be lucky?
One would think...super wary of the whole QB thing... part of being a buc fan.
