We need to see this as a game to run some tests on things like our RB depth, and working out some different attack strategies in the passing game.
Totally agree
I was only offering the one take on how to win. I guess some stat says hold Henry under 90 and win. It's probably flipped ie when you win against the Ravens you have probably kept Henry off the field a bit.
In terms of our actual strategy to win that would most likely come by the passing game lighting it up early, but agree its not a "do or die" scenario as much as a yardstick.
They average 205 yards per game. that is their offense
They’re also ranked 8th in passing yards and Lamar is 5th in passing TD’s.
Their passing game is good. Can’t sleep on it.
Culp will get his NFL debut on Monday night. Would love to see them get him involved a little. Brings more athleticism and playmaking ability than Otton.
Evans a game time decision for a game where he would be pivotal.
"Bucs coach Todd Bowles said Mike Evans will be a game-time decision. He didn’t practice the last two days but was able to do some things today"
I mean, outside of trying to get him yards, why rush him back when there are upcoming conference games in which we will need him in order to win?
We need all hands on deck to win, but I think the 1000 yard mark should be a low priority. I don't really care. If defenses are focusing on Evans, that could be a contributing factor to why Godwin is having such a great season. As long as the Bucs are winning, that's the main thing. I'm pretty sure Evans would agree with that. The 1000s streak is great, but really I couldn't give a rats pituti if the Bucs aren't winning.I mean, outside of trying to get him yards, why rush him back when there are upcoming conference games in which we will need him in order to win?
Evans has no injury designation, so he'll play on Monday night.
While I’d prefer to rest/heal Mike for the ATL/SF games…Mike knows what he’s about.

mike is making history. I want him out there and that streak is likely second on my list after winning.
yes winning is the main objective both even Mike getting 50 yards goes a long way to him hitting the 1,000 yards
Mike Evans is a star on a mission, if he wants to go, let him go. I just think we NEED him MORE for the division & conference games more than we need to make a statement.
If he gets his 50 yards - and tweaks that hamstring, worse, and he can’t go against Atlanta…that would be a bigger problem. If we could rest him another week, he night go for 100 yards in one of the conference games…
Whether its Evans or Palmer (if he's back) this should be a game where the deep throw comes out.
