Just looking at a few of the elite QB's....Brees, Rodgers, and Brady....all of them sat behind pretty good QB's before getting their chance. I'm wondering how much a few years practice and holding a clipboard effects a players success. Manning doesn't fit the profile, but 75% is a big number. Luck and Wilson while promising are far from elite.

Unfortunately, holding the clipboard has become a thing of the past. Brady & Rogers didn't have a choice but to sit and wait. Since this is a win now league, coaches don't have the luxury of sitting their rookie qb especially those taken in the first round.

Ummm, how many games did Brady wait?  He started his rookie season , Bree's started year 2 which I think would be optimal.
