It is almost comical at this point. Let's take a walk down Memory Lane. Here are how the Bucs fared in the Lovie Smith era:2014 week 1 vs CARDerek Anderson led Panthers to 17 point lead. Bucs came back with 14 points in 4th quarter, and driving when Rainey fumbled and CAR recovered.2014 week 2 vs STLRams take 19-17 lead with 42 seconds left, miraculously Bucs still have life, when McCown completes passes to Rainey and Evans down to Rams 32 yard line. Evans gets injured, can't get to sideline, and because Bucs have no timeouts, 10 seconds gets run off, and time expires.2014 week 3 at ATLGame over before the buffalo wings were even served.2014 week 5 at NOLGlennon led Bucs to 31-20 lead in 4th quarter. Saints force overtime, win coin toss, and take advantage of soft defense to win.2014 week 6 vs BALGame over before first beer finished.2014 week 8 vs MINBucs have 13-10 lead, but MIN forces overtime. Bucs win coin toss, but first play from scrimmage, ASJ catches a pass, fumbles, and Vikings defender takes it to the end zone for the win.2014 week 9 at CLEBucs have 17-16 lead in 4th quarter. Brown's take lead with about 8 minutes left. Bucs do drive to CLE 28 in final 2 minutes, but OPI call pushes them back too far.2014 week 10 vs ATLBucs lead 17-16, but Falcons score go ahead TD in 4th quarter. Bucs drive to ATL 4 yard line in final two minutes, but McCown is intercepted in end zone on pass off Jackson's fingers.2014 week 12 at CHIBucs hold 10-0 halftime lead. Guess what? They blow that lead. Bucs commit 3 turnovers in third quarter. 2014 week 13 vs CINBucs are losing 14-13, but driving on the Bengals in the closing seconds. Get to CIN 20 yard line with time to attempt winning FG, but are called (extremely) late for 12 men on field. Pushes them out of FG range.2014 week 15 at CARBucs swept by team led by backup qb. Yawner.2014 week 17 vs NOLBucs led 20-7 at half, when Lovie realizes he can tank and get first pick in draft. Winless at home. Bucs fans choose paper bags over plastic at Publix to hide their embarrassment in rooting for this train wreck of a football team. There you have it Lovie's "Greatest Hits." Kinda speaks for itself.
