I was watching Scott Smith and Casey Phillips talk about the draft and there was a question about taking a linebacker in the 1st round and Scott brought up a comment that Licht made about taking a linebacker: you can take a linebacker in the first round if he can not only play linebacker but also rush the passer and I immediately thought of T.J. Watt.
I've watched Watt a couple of times for Wisconsin and he's pretty impressive. Reports are that he's still growing and could have a big upside. He would fill the need for a SLB, but also could play DE in a pass rush situation.
I really love T.J. and while I'm not sure he can be as good as J.J., he's still rated as the 3rd best linebacker and listed as a OLB/DE prospect.
I'd be fully on board with T.J. and it's a name I haven't yet seen connected with the Bucs.
