If the Bucs can score 37 points again they'll have a chance to be in the game. The Bucs defense is decimated, so Baker will have to be baking on Sunday. I'm hoping for a shootout.I took the Bucs and gave 4 vs Washington. If it weren't for all the injuries the Bucs have, I'd have taken the 7 and the Bucs, but I'm taking Detroit and giving the 7. I think it's going to get real ugly on Sunday. If the Bucs were somehow to win the game, I'd gladly lose the $$$.
Bucs by 6. Mark it down.
Despite all the injuries. I think we come out to play.
I dont think the Bucs will score 37 points against the Lions D - also don’t think Buc fans think that we can score like that against them, nor would we think any team can score like that every week.If the Bucs can score 37 points again they'll have a chance to be in the game. Having said that, the ability to score at that level is what would probably be needed against the Lions (although the one team that could do that was the Rams, who just lost to Detroit last week).
That’s why I’m looking at how the offense does against a much better defense. I’m not fooling myself into thinking we can win this one…
…but I’m open to surprises.
If Goedeke is down with a concussion, injury bug now biting the offense…
Looking even uglier - going to be interesting.
Good to see the OP is ready to Josh Mckown this thing. Goofy.
Since we are very very young and we have major holes that will not be filled with free agents why not ?
Does it seems crazy now or do we need two more weeks?
Dude. Really?Does it seems crazy now or do we need two more weeks?
If we play like we did vs Denver not only could we be swept by carolina(red rocket has taken off) but top 15 pick.
top 8 I sure hope not barring something drastic.

Bucs are a .500 team. it's what they have been the last 2 seasons.
We were fooled by the 2-0 start much like we were last year with the 3-1 start.
so would it surprise me if the Bucs were 3-5 at some point this year. No. But it also wouldn't surprise me if that 3-5 start turned into 9-8 or 10-7.

Always a lot of enthusiasm leading into the season, but pass rush and o-line (two most critical features) have always been a question mark and, so has LBer. Add in injuries as a wildcard and its easy to see it being a tough season
Bucs come back strong and beat the Eagles and everyone will be back on the 10 plus wins!!
You can't underestimate losing the two best players on defense. In a past thread I voted Vea as the most indispensable player on the team. Evans may be the future HOF. But the guy we can least afford to go without is Vea, not to mention Winfield. We just have to gut it it out for a couple more weeks.Bucs come back strong and beat the Eagles and everyone will be back on the 10 plus wins!!

Yes, agreed very tough.
But, the Broncos game had the feel of a let down and even players talked about it and thats all I was suggesting, that it is a possibility. Even though the Bucs got a break to win against the Lions the effort was really impressive, especially as compared to the Broncos game. Maybe that returns against the Eagles.
