I get the OJ pick in the first, but why not Cook in the Second?

Love Cook and the Noles as much as anyone, but I would have drafted OJ Howard with both on the board at #19. Howard was just too good of an option to pass up, and had a higher grade.

My question that I still can't shake is why didn't we trade up in the second round and get Cook around where the Vikings did? There was a high probability the Eagles were about to draft him in the second, so the Vikings made the trade. The Bucs could have easily made that trade and gave up their 2nd and 4th or 5th round pick.

As it stands, the bucs drafted a backup saftey in the 2nd round, that was a reach by many.

This offense could have had Jameis, Mike Evans, Jackson, Humphries, Godwin,Brate, OJ Howard and Dalvin Cook.... Unstoppable!!

Why not trade up in the 2nd to get Davlin Cook?
