correlation means causation@bucsbits One thing no one can deny (maybe JC can) is that White excels catching the ball out of the backfield.
Sure. And one thing no one can deny is there’s a negative correlation between his receptions and points scored.
LMAO. That is the classic "I dont think that word means what you think it does!"
INCONCEIVABLE

Theres been nothing to say to JC on this topic for a long time. Its absurd, like most of the "I see what no one else does" stuff he trolls out.

Thankfully for everyone here, you haven't let that stop you. Keep up the good work, Counselor.

Ive talked to him lately about his theory, getting him to actually admit a key flaw.
You on the other hand
Right, because that would require a little intellectual honesty on your part.

Biggs, this thread includes an actual football discussion with JC (as silly as his premise is) and that discussion has many posters chiming on the football.
And then it includes your typical, huge chip shoulder trolling, compensating . . stuff, complete with the "likes" by DH . . lol
clearly don’t mind making an ass out of yourself.
lmao
Like I have posted a few times, whenever you and DH care to put your $$ where your trolling mouthes are . . let's talk about that BET.
I mean, anything is better for the board than you posting about WHITE running the ball . . again . . and again . . and again. 40+pages . . .

What was the key flaw? That White is better receiving and pass blocking? Sure, I just don't believe it moves the offense. And his running certainly stalls it.

AGAIN you're talking about feeling vs facts. There's no actual correlation between White getting touches and us losing. The real correlation is that WHEN YOU'RE DOWN YOU'RE IN PASS PRO MORE.
White had a great game vs the Ravens for example but that was a blow out (don't tell Bowles that tho... We're still waiting for Godwin to come back).
You're doing the classic tropes of causation without correlation (ice cream causes drowning)

0 touches, 2-0, 39 ppg
6-7 touches, 1-1, 36 ppg
10-13 touches, 4-4, 25 ppg
16-21 touches, 3-2, 31 ppg

Ok? What is it you think this proves? 10+ carries and we are 7-6 which is essentially our record on the season.
He gets more touched WHEN WE ARE DOWN. Why is this so fucking hard for you to understand?

What does it prove? The 4 games he touched the ball an average of 3.3 times per game we scored 150 points. He's not important. He's not valuable. He's not good. Stop pretending. Stop passing so much. Start running the offense through Irving and Tucker on the ground.

If White is better than Tucker at "receiving and pass blocking" then by definition:
1) White is getting much more snaps THAN TUCKER in a 50-55% pass offense; and,
2) Tucker is relegated mostly to the 3rd back, mop up running duty BECAUSE Irving > White overall
In other words, your admission explains something (relative snap counts of the RBs) that you have previously attributed to Coen in competence.

You just want to hand all the passing plays to White? His only role should be 3rd and long and even that's being generous.
