Are you 12 years old?
Says the guy whose moniker for the board calls for the firing of the coach who has won the division 4 years in a row and guided our defense to a Super Bowl blowout the year before that.
Be better M8.
This is such an asinine counter to your juvenile insults and commentary.

Solid retort. Go rub your bean, read some pre-season football info, and get some sleep. It’s going to be a long year for you.

Great work. I’ll make sure you write my next tight 5…
Herbert was coached by some bad coaching staffs before Harbaugh arrived. Hopefully Harbaugh can give him that edge to be more competitive as a QB to turn him into a gamer. Mayfield on the other hand has always been known as a gamer.
the other feather under Herbert cap is he doesn't have a good supporting cast when ranking the other top 12 or so QBs.
but unfortunately that's all hypotheticals and speculation
i dont see how people are ranking him ahead of Goff, Baker, Daniels, and Stafford based off the last 2 years other than "hope"
I'd probably rank him 10 entering the year but let's see if Prescott and Purdy have bounce back years
Herbert has no business being at #5 given last 3 years of stats and his playoff pedigree. Lamar gets a pass because he's losing to guys like Mahomes and Allen whereas Herbert losing to the AFC South
Herbert is a better QB than Baker Goff Daniels and Stafford, yes
I wouldn’t take Herbert over Daniels or non-injured, younger Stafford. Baker? Toss up right now for me. If Herbert had Baker’s weapons, his numbers would probably look significantly better. So I’d probably go Herbert, although you can’t discount Baker’s leadership style. Not sure Herbert has the same mentality.
Goff’s recent success is due largely to Ben Johnson, IMO. I’m very curious to see how he looks when guys aren’t schemed wide open on the reg. Goff looks great when he throwing against air, but struggles when decisions are needed. Like in Tampa, Detroit’s new OC is gonna be big.

Younger Stafford and Herbert are extremely comparable. Won some games but didn't win a playoff game, then went to a better team/coach and elevated.
Baker's body of work isn't nearly as good as Herbert's and he had 4x the turnovers last year. But he also, to your point, brought the leadership and tenacity that Herbert lacks. I'd still take Herbert.
Daniels for me... Idk, I'm not as sold on him as others. His size and playing style scream injury. I wouldn't be surprised to see a sophomore slump. I def think he's good but I don't think he's earned his insane praise of being top 6.
I guess time will tell

Look at Stafford's numbers from last year. Not even top half of the league. Zero mobility. Insane YAC from his playmakers.
I’m not sure, all things considered, there is a QB I would want in Tampa outside of Baker. He’s better at the position than Hurts, he’s a better leader than Lamar, he’s got the ear of the room better than any QB in the league by my estimation. If I could push a red button and grab another team, I may switch with the Denver Broncos but, that’s about it. I hate Sean Payton but, that team, like Tampa, is being built for the long haul, only I think their coaching overall is slightly better than ours right now. I could see a Bucs/Broncos Super Bowl this year.

to me there's the top 4 - Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, and Burrow
then there's 5 through 14 which can be interchangeable. So many people have recency bias so they inflate guys like Hurts and Daniels given last year and kick guys like Prescott and Purdy to the curb
5 through 14 in no order - Stafford, Daniels, Hurts, Baker, Goff, Herbert, Stroud, Purdy, Prescott, Love
anyone of those 5 through 14 can jump to 5 depending on how this year plays out
i agree that Stafford at this point is living off his name; i'd probalby have Daniels at 5 given last year but he can just as easily drop out of top 10 this year
Baker, who worked his way into the top 10, can drop out of top 10 if he reverts back to 2023 levels as 2024 levels were off the charts.

This is what makes these kind of "rank the QB" discussions interesting and also challenging.
Mayfield's impact on the team, like most QBs, probably goes well beyond the stats. And the positive part of that is just tied to who he is now and, frankly, the timing of his arrival. He arrived looking for redemption at the same time that a number of talented YOUNG players on the Bucs seemed to want to show that they were good too. So, the team sort of adopted Mayfield's "us against the world" ethos. That is a pretty valuable mindset for a team
Would someone like Herbert - who looks the part of a great QB - actually get a team to rally around him like that? Maybe? I dont know enough about Herbert to say.
But, the point is which TEAM do you want to put your $ on if all other things are equal, an underdog team rallying around a QB like Mayfield or a team with a great QB, but nowhere near the total commitment to that QB? NOT saying that is San Diego. Just providing a contrast.
Mayfield is probably the Bucs best QB for this moment, even if there are "better" QBs in the league.
i'd probalby have Daniels at 5 given last year but he can just as easily drop out of top 10 this year
One of the interesting non-Bucs stories this season.
Injury risk always there for a QB like that, but the trait that carried him most last year was composure. Thats a rare trait.

I think the Bucs have a legitimate chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season. Bills or Ravens from the AFC.

Agreed.
i'd probalby have Daniels at 5 given last year
Oh…nevermind.
haha read the rest of the post. said he could drop out of the top 10. i think it's very unlikely for Washington to repeat their success.
Daniels with 2 playoff wins his rookie year, shit, how old Herbert going to be to accomplish that?
