OK so after only really being active on this forum for a few months and noticing a lot of hate and sh$t talking on here I wondered "is this normal?" I mean we are fans of the same team. Why so much aggression towards each other?
So I started an experiment. I joined the Eagles, Bengals, Browns and Panther forums (thus far). I wanted to see/read how the fans react towards each other.
I thought for sure the Eagles would be a war zone. Complete opposite. They were more or less slobbing each others knobs over the Super Bowl win.
Browns - This fan base is super optimistic. I thought for sure I'd see some bickering/whining on this forum. Nope. Minus a not so happy outlook of Hugh Jackson they are happy for the upcoming season.
Bengals - Similar result to the Browns. Fairly optimistic outside of their coach.
Panthers - They are a lot like our forums here. Didn't take much for fans to get triggered or bitch back and forth.
So my brief interpretation of this is the general outlook of the team. Of course Philly fans are happy as hell. Life is good for them now.
I think our outlook on this team borders more negative than positive. Then we project that towards each other. I'm curious to the general attitude of this board if the Bucs are perennial playoff contenders without a quarterback that is causing more negativity than good?
