He’s been a game changer. His head coach, and teammates said before the draft that we don’t win the National Championship without Egbuka.Again I'll say all the defensive players available... I don't see them as game changers.
Is Egbuka a game changer?

I would guess they would say the same thing about dozens of players on the team, no?
In many ways if McMillan showed us he can make an impact on the boundary then Egbuka is going to show how deadly he is attacking the seem with post and go routes.
Keep in mind that Grizzard wants to add more vertical elements to the offensive scheme so I wouldn't close the door on Palmer yet. But Egbuka is sneak good attacking the between the hashmarks downfield.

Not arguing that he’s the 9 route guy we wanted prior to the draft. I think that’s the debate you’re trying to have, but it’s a bit of a deviation.
Clearly it’s a polarizing pick, but likely it’s because we weren’t on track with what the Bucs plans are.
I see this entire draft as marking a significant shift. We’re not just working to win more games than we lose - we added to an elite offense, we got an elite Edge (FA), and we’re stacking good talent at critical defensive positions.
I think we’re poised for a breakout season.
I know your point was about the 1st round pick - but it makes a bigger point. We can do these things because we’ve leveled up.
