Anyone who says Lovie deserves another year is shameful. I have never witness a team commit more stupid penalties, lack of accountability, and for over half a season come out flat like they did yesterday. That's just the player side, I haven't even got into the poor time clock management, personnel moves, and especially defensive coaching in which he is suppose to be in the upper class. Back when Schiano got fired I made the case for Todd Bowles to be the HC, because he is an aggressive defense minded guy and seems to get the best out of his players. His defense is 5th in the NFL, and 1st in the NFL in rush defense, 14th in pass defense. His team is 8-5 with Ryan Fitzpatrick at Quarterback. Could you imagine if he had Jameis Winston and Dirk Koetter? Lovie is what his record is, he is a average coach who will always be 8-8 or 9-7 or worse. In Chicago out of 9 seasons 4 of those were 10 or more wins. I will say to his credit he has assemble more talent on this roster in two years but his message is not getting across to his players. The penalties and time management is what blows me away but the most frustrating part of his coaching is when his team comes out flat like yesterday. How in the world when you are 6-6 in the playoff hunt do you allow a 4-8 Saints team who has lost 4 in a row and a heart breaker to Carolina come out and covert 12-17 3rd downs on your defense. It's not just this game though, giving up the lead against Washington, getting blown out by Tennessee, letting Matt Hasselback shred your defense. I just want a coach to prepare this team and hold them accountable for these stupid penalties. Another thing it's time to bring Jonathan Banks back in the lineup I have seen Jude get burned too many times now.
