Some posters are saying that the Arians hiring was a mistake. We should have hired the next McVay. We should have been more creative, imaginative. That's fine.
My problem is that when there are new coaches A,B,C,X,Y and Z at least one of those coaches, say Coach Y is going to do well. And these guys who refuse to say a name now, will come back next offseason and say "We should have gone all out to hire Coach Y! See how good they did! Licht just didn't have the foresight to hire Coach Y!" But never mind that Coach A, B, X and Z all sucked. They won't say now who we should have hired, but they will be sure to tell us after the fact that they were right that we should have hired that coach. That's B.S.
So with that in mind, now is your chance to choose who the Bucs should have gone to the wall to hire. Pay them whatever it takes! So that one year later you can legitimately say "I told you so!" Some of the choices didn't get hired, but you can still claim them if that's who you were calling for the Bucs to hire. Feel free to post your choice now, or hold your peace later.
