I still think slim, sadly.
none? Can’t ever say that after this last off season lol.
He gone! *40 days later* psyche
i still think it’s most likely he retires, 2nd most likely signs elsewhere (SF) and last comes back to us. We weren’t his first choice initially when he signed here to begin with, remember? I member.
Funny stuff
When you mix in a clinical lack of shame and self-awareness . .. you get the above asshole.
Buggsy . . did you or did you not post here that there was NO CORRELATION BETWEEN RUNNING and PASSING in the NFL?"
you will not answer that question honestly and THAT is the point, the very reason I highlighted your hilarious quote
CALLED IT
Right from a PR article:
NO GRONK LEADS TO THIS SAD SUMMARY
"No Cam Brate meant it was the Cade Otton show at tight end. He had the most snaps out of any skill position players with 68 out of 78. Ko Kieft was around his usual percentage with 29%, and Kyle Rudolph was seldom used, playing on 14% of the snaps."
BRADY ALERTED TO OTTON AND HE COULD NOT GET FREE IN THE EZ
BRADY MISSED HIM BECAUSE HE STOPPED RUNNING AND SAT DOWN EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A HUGE OPEN FIELD IN FRONT OF HIM
OTTON DROPPED AT LEAST ONE RIGHT IN HSI HANDS
KIEFT DROPPED ONE RIGHT IN HIS HANDS
Tight end will be critical in 1st playoff because the opponent likely takes away the Evans deep ball
NO GRONK AND NO MARLET AND CAPPA AND JENSEN LEADS TO THIS:
"The run game is still a mess for the Bucs as their top two backs combined for just 50 yards on the ground."
AGAIN, SOMETHING WE NEED AGAINST A PLAYOFF OPPONENT WHO IS LIKELY TO PLAY OFF/2 DEEP SHELL
DH, you are the "loudest" voice here that a) Brady is great (agreed) and b) Leftwich is THE problem ('a" problem), but now after a game with EXECUTION errors everywhere you're turning into JC and saying we have a great line that could actually play wide open lol
1. Brady has played like a Top-10 QB the majority of the season. Has he been consistently elite? No. Has he been consistently more good than bad? Yes.
2. Anyone with a functioning brain and ounce of football acumen can see that Lefty is the biggest problem.
3. If you're going to bitch about strawmen, then don't do it yourself. I never said the line was great/elite/etc. I simply said they aren't as bad as you and others have made them out to be.

I don’t disagree with much of that but I think you said the O-line could play wide open spread? Could be wrong.
anyway, this is Joe Thomas
“For me, the big weakness for the Buccaneers most of the season has been their offensive line. They can’t block. A little bit like the Bills but even worse,” Thomas said. “And so Brady, as fast as he can throw the football, he was still getting hit trying to deliver the football in two seconds.”
Lazy take by Thomas. LT has been a disaster but the rest of the line has been more than fine.
that but I think you said the O-line could play wide open spread?
They can. They have.

Exactly.
Tape shows it.
Even the PFF grades align with it, also with DS being the weak link dragging the overall unit down.

The worst running team in the league with an LT who sets records for holding penalties because hes getting beat routinely and undrafted back ups across the interior . . is really a "13-4" offensive line. The running just sucks because of "bad formations" and Brady is not rushing the ball out all season to stay alive.
That's what your "film study" shows you.
We are Super Bowl Champions AGAIN
Keep Jensen on the bench if he gets healthy! He is the "odd man out!"

It's a problem for damn-near every "analyst" on television. They just regurgitate the same stuff over and over, whether it's correct or not. It makes it tough for the simpletons to understand the game, because they end up repeating the same nonsense. The two dingleberries in this thread are excellent examples.
That's why listening to Romo politely call out the poor offense playcalling all season by praising how much different the first half of the Bengals game looked was so refreshing.

The guy who go stuck at JV guard because he was the fattest . ..
versus
Joe Thomas
Say what you want about the play calling and the actual state of the "13-4" Bucs, but the defense of this "let's switch to spread offense with these guys" offensive line is a great window into the soul of football message board posters.
:-)
There is always a hill

You could believe the folks at PFF who've watched and evaluated every single offensive snap. Or you could believe a dude that probably hasn't watched a full Buccaneer game, and definitely hasn't evaluated every snap of one game (much less every game) for all of the OL.
It's a tough call.

I’m sorry. But, I just love the fact that you’re hung up on the whole “13-4” line from JC, considering it was so facetious that Stevie Wonder could see it.
And, again, I’m sure CONSTANTLY running on PREDICTABLE run downs, out of PREDICTABLE run formations have no effect on a defense’s ability to stop it.
Again, film shows the line is not as bad as you claim. PFF grades back it up.
