but the defense of this "let's switch to spread offense with these guys" offensive line is a great window into the soul of football message board posters.

You’re right.

How dare any poster/fan/analysts suggest we mix in more up-tempo/no huddle into the offense?!

I mean, we’re only ranked in the Top-3 of damn near every meaningful metric.

The worst running team in the league with an LT who sets records for holding penalties because hes getting beat routinely and undrafted back ups across the interior . .  is really a "13-4" offensive line.

I’m sorry. But, I just love the fact that you’re hung up on the whole “13-4” line from JC, considering it was so facetious that Stevie Wonder could see it.

And, again, I’m sure CONSTANTLY running on PREDICTABLE run downs, out of PREDICTABLE run formations have no effect on a defense’s ability to stop it.

Again, film shows the line is not as bad as you claim. PFF grades back it up.

The film thing is funny because you're channeling JC.

I am not hung up on 13-4. JC meant it, you endorsed it. You also endorsed his wide open spread talent comment LOL. Anyway, I am JOKING about it . .  highlighting the absurdity of that point of view

On PFF Grades . . PFF itself attributes much of the pass protection grades to Brady, that is the central point of all of this, but if you want to say "Smith drags them down" in grading /performance doesn't that also mean that Wirfs and Brady lift them up? If we are being honest?

The only point here is that the team is not "13 - 4" and could NOT play a wide open spread offense because the team just isn't as talented at a KEY area. Brady is great so he MASKS that deficiency and during much of the season in a way that actually CONTRIBUTED to the low production on offense (a point I made using an article on ACTUAL film review and photography)

But,  just to stay with the LACK of basic logic in the argument . . if losing Barrett and Vea are "tough losses" for the defensive line (ie we will lose production) how is it that losing Marpet, Gronk, Cappa and Jensen is basically insignificant ?

The only way one could say that an O-line that is last in rushing and scoring only 17 points per game (versus 30 before) is insignificant is if that person wanted to defend a position that the team is as talented as the past teams and really 13-4.  I think you once said that Bruce at the helm and this exact team is something close to 13-4, right?

That is completely emperors new clothes, its asking people to deny what they see with their own eyes in favor of a stat. This is what PFF says about the O-Line in the panthers game:

"Offensive line spotlight: It was a tough game back for Bucs right tackle Tristan Wirfs, who finished the day with a 63.9 overall grade on first review. He only yielded one pressure on the day, but it did result in a sack. However, he was the highest-graded Bucs offensive lineman in a game where both offensive lines struggled."

Wirfs is awesome. He also has a terrible high ankle sprain.

I actually pointed out a real drive killing play where our guard WHIFFS on a seal block

OBVIOUSLY when you lose Gronk, Marpet, Cappa (how did he do in that Bengals game -68.6) jensen and now Wirfs is injured AND Smit has regressed . . . OBVIOUSLY that line is NOT as telnted or capable as the SB line . .  a FACT reinforced by Brady throwing the balls so fast and dumping it all the time . . all season long

Of course they could play more of a spread offense. Just like they could have been running more no/sugar huddle than they were. That's something else you scoffed at, only to watch them do it and be successful at it on Sunday.

Your points continue to suck, mostly because you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Per JBF

Former Bucs great Keyshawn Johnson was shaking his head this week at those who think Brady is still the magical Goat he always was. Speaking on his ESPN Radio show, Johnson was adamant that Aaron Rodgers is still Aaron Rodgers, but Brady is a guy who took a significant step down from his throne.

“Anybody that looks at Tom Brady and says, ‘Oh, That’s still Brady.’ They’re just talking now. They’re scared to say anything negative about Tom Brady. That’s just the reality of it,” Johnson said.

Yet, Tom has more yards, less INT’s identical TD’s, higher completion percentage, etc.

🤣 🤣 🤣

These Leftwich nut goblins simply have no shame.

Yet, Tom has more yards

Is that accurate? Honestly asking which stat you're using

"In 381 completions this season — which leads the NFL for the second year in a row — 45-year-old Tom Brady has only attempted 38 throws of 20-plus air yards or more.

Consequently, or perhaps as the result of a conscious decision, Brady’s 6.2 yards per attempt is the lowest in his 22 years as a starter. It also ranks 31st or next to last among NFL starters."

"Whatever the reason, those regular-season deep ball tries are way down from 63 in 2020 and 75 in 2021.

“I’d never imagine people saying I need to be more aggressive,” Leftwich said.

A good theory is that Brady simply doesn’t trust his protection, which is why he is releasing the football as quick as he has at any time in his career."

Brady's been dumping the ball out super fast and shorter

Even Buggsy, who might get outwitted by a grapefruit, was able to count to three this weekend:

"If Brady would hang in the pocket a tick or two longer, it would allow more receivers to break open down field. But it’s not happening, and the deep ball is no longer a element of the offense opponents have to fear."

I wasn’t suggesting that, just looking for the info

Brady is still awesome and your efforts to say the opposite is as misplaced as “it’s just Lefty”

Are you dingleberries really incapable of confirming Brady (4,610) is second in the NFL in yards, while Rodgers (3,490) is 12th? That actually explains quite a bit.

Tom Brady - 4,610 yards

Aaron Rodgers - 3,490 yards

I mean, most people with a functioning brain would say 4,610 > 3,490 yards isn’t “making stuff up”…

…but then again, we’re dealing with you.

Your hatred for Tom led your dumbass to believe that 3,490 is greater than 4,610.

Now, that’s embarrassing, lil’ fella.

The lengths the Leftwich D Riders will go to embarrass themselves is comical if not pathetic.

And, Phillywise’s utter hatred for Tom over the last 3 years has produced some real gems.

DH, our conversations have been about this year compared to the last two years.  I don't bother paying much attention to what pennywise posts because he's just trolling, so I didn't see (until now ) that his Keyshawn comment was comparing Brady to Rodgers. I thought it was just about "Brady in decline" (because what lese does that guy post) and only read your response. So, I was mistakenly asking about yards year over year, as a result. I was asking about that because I have been reading about how much Brady and opposing defense have cut off the long ball, so I know his attempts were much shorter overall, but thought maybe he also has more attempts overall such that his total yards are up.  I ddint see that though when I looked, so that is why I asked.

Buggsy, no matter how much you try you will always be the dumb one because I am not a rock.

I am, at a minimum, a normal functioning human able to open a jar of peanut butter. You are NOT. So, just accept your place in the world and maybe take "you're" INSECURE hostility elsewhere?

Or don't, but man that poor dog . . .
