We should offer Chicago as much as they want for their number 1 pick and get CJ STROUD!!!! We can't waste godwin and evans the next 3 years...I dont care if he's a rookie...this kid is legit!!
omg. I'm not hiring you to be my real estate agent.
Justin Fields II. Can run but is an inaccurate passer.

Disagree. He isn’t the runner Fields is, but is a significantly better passer.
We have nothing to offer Chicago.
Ohio State QBs require careful evaluation because of how good their WRs are. Harrison Jr will be right up there with Caleb Williams for #1 overall pick next year.
No if’s about it he won’t be back as a buc , personally I’m ok with that ….time to get young

I wouldnt mind finding the next young QB either.. but I dont see Brady going anywhere else. Its retirement or another season in Tampa.. and something tells me hes not retiring yet.
Next year he gets a competent OC, his probowl center back, by virtue of his center returning he'll get better Oline depth, Godwin back to 100% to start the season, another offseason for Licht to try and retool with some help after the failed Julio Jones signing. Rachaad White in year 2 as the primary RB. Theres a lot to be positive about for 2023 Bucs season.
Licht and Bowles need to swap Wirfs and D.Smith, draft OT round one and have that guy compete at LG. our Line in 2023 could look like Wirfs, Rookie(R1), Jensen, Mason, D.Smith. That alone with a new OC makes 2023 Bucs look like a completely different offense than 2022 Bucs.
In the above very realistic scenario wed have either Hainsey and Leverett as Oline depth all of the sudden, or one of them and a first round OT as depth. along with Goedeke developing still at OT. All that sounds incredibly good yet very reasonable
I don't think Brady's returning, but if he does why would he want a different OC? He has a good line of communication. He won't want to learn a new system. Not only would he have to learn a new system, but his whole offense would also. It would take a year to get that running smoothly, which would mean that they might get it down just in time for Brady to retire. RIght now Brady can call the shots and get basically anything he wants implemented. With a new offense, he'll be too busy trying to learn it himself and get it installed to think about making his own changes. Sometimes you guys aren't thinking things through very well. If Brady comes back, so will Leftwich, but IMO I don't think we'll see either Brady or Leftwich on the Bucs sidelines next year.
@catherder Its not that Brady would WANT a new OC, its that someone will have to be held accountable in the public eye as to why the offense has had problems all year. We know that the focus wont be TB....So its likely Leftwich will be fired after this run is over. I don't know why you think Brady and Leftwich are a package deal because they aren't, they are just in the same fox hole together right now trying to win. Its not that the "system" is bad or a new one with a new OC would need to be learned. Its more about situation decisions and play calling. Something BL has struggled with for more than just this season, its just gotten exposed more this year. In a nut shell you are saying the only OC out there that Brady will work with is Byron Leftwich???? come on man he has had more than one OC in his career.
@pennywise Yeah I agree, but its hard to let go of the success and potential for a bit more and move towards the unknown. Considering the amount of time that typically passes for this organization to be relevant once again. For some of us older dudes out there ....we don't only remember the time between Super Bowls but we remember the time before any. Some long ass droughts. I am always cautious saying its time to move on when this organization up until 2021 had the worst active winning percentage of any sports franchise.
@pepsi 100% on, I couldn't agree with you more. It could be because I am bias like most all of us are. However if TB decides he wants to play next season Tampa Bay still seems to be the best offer and easiest decision he could make. All of the offensive expectations had for this season are more realistic to happen next year considering the things mentioned in your post.
Payton, Brady and Gronk to Indy.

beavis, Brady is not married to Leftwich, but if he's going to squeeze out one more season out of his old body I don't believe he's going to want to make major changes for that one final year. He's going to want to correct whatever problems they have. He'll want to get on it right away if that's the case. And what Brady wants matters. A new OC is going to bring in a new system. That's what they do. They don't generally come in and use somebody else's system. They may adapt and mix and match, but they'll make major changes. That's why they were hired.
But I don't see that same fire in Brady that he had when he wanted to get started on next year the day after the season was over. I see a Brady who is calm and philosophical at least off the field, somebody who has come to terms that this is it. The old Brady would be in a foul mood if he was going through a season like this. Brady seems to have accepted that it is what it is. Just make the best of it, take one more shot, and call it a career.
