Rex Ryan

NO**CENSORED**INGWAY

Yes**CENSORED**ing Way

as a DC maybe. hes a **CENSORED**ty head coach. we already have offense problems. nothing changes with Rexif we are going with a retread i want Ken Whisenhunt. im tired of garbage offense

Cool. I am not pounding the table for Rex whatsoever, but I do like a lot of what he has done with the talent he had. He is probably among the very best at scheming against elite qb's. He's a big game coach with brains. Why do you feel the way you do about him?

I believe the only way that the Glazers would even consider replacing Schiano this soon would be if they already had a deal in place to bring in a super-high profile guy like Cowher much like they did with Parcells when they first were considering firing Dungy. Otherwise, I think they choose to ride Schiano out and pressure him to replace his OC much like they did with Dungy for a few seasons. The Glazers don't think short term. Hell, Morris got three seasons and he probably would have gotten longer if all the off the field stuff hadn't tarnished the Buccaneer brand in the Glazers' eyes.

i like his defensive scheme a loti just dont like the clownshow that has gone on with the Jets over the last few years. his approach to the media and his brash personality are funny for a while but they get old. his drafting also leaves something to be desired. hes assembled a really talented defense but he never drafts skill position players. he relies too much on the run game and defense. his offense is always boring. sound familiar?Rex is a great DC but hes just not cut out to be a head coach

Whisenhunt

I don't get the hate on this hire. He has done wonders for Rivers in San Deigo and has a proven track record. You can't tell me he doesn't know what it takes to build a winner.

He got to the Super Bowl with the freaking Bidwells as owners. GREAT COACH!

I agree completely that change for the sake of change would bite us in the butt.  If we are to make a change I want it to be for an upgrade in a proven guy.  I don't want anybody without NFL headcoaching experience or atleast extensive experience as an NFL coordinator.  My first choice would be Lovie Smith.  He would also be choices 2, 3, and 4.  Beyond that I would go for Whisenhunt. As for GM I would be completely fine with giving Stokes a chance.  I think that dude has great potential, but he hasn't actually done the job.  That's part of why I want an experienced coach.  I think it would be wise to have somebody with experience to help him transition.

I want a coach with a high powered offense. Pretty much the only thing I care about. We have enough talent on defense to take care of itself. Offensively I want some punch.
