Sure and Alstott is our favorite running back. But he's not on the team this year. Father Time will win in the end. Godwin is on the decline. If Godwin was going to be on the team next year they'd have restructured his contract. The fact that they're taking on his huge cap hit this year says volumes. Another statement will come on Friday when they spend a Day 2 pick on a WR.I would cry if we don't find a way to retain Gwin. He's probably my favorite Wr.
If you have his jersey don't worry about it. You can still wear it. There are some jerseys that you can wear a year from now or 20 years from now. Godwin's jersey is one that will stand the test of time. On the other hand, I've got a #5 Freeman jersey I'll sell you for cheap.

Agree. I have Godwin 14 in red, Evans 13 in white, Brady 12 in SB pewter. And a Jackson 83 in red. None of them are the hideous digital clock numbers. All of those stand the test of time, at least IMHO. No thanks on the Freeman 5 no matter the color 😊

Or, just get an authentic and frame it.
Might have a chance to get it autographed and add to/start a fun memorabilia collection.
Well the Bucs went mostly offense for the draft and to surround Mayfield with as much talent as possible. Bucs did add two key defenders at edge and DB.
Yes, nice mix of offense and defense, filled some needs, solid draft.
Agreed it was another balanced draft. Bucs went defensive heavy early last draft but they were still able to draft Mauch, Palmer and Durham. We shall see if Palmer and Durham can improve and stick this year but it would be nice.
I would consider this a very good draft. Bucs upgraded interior OL in a big way with Barton while adding McMillan as a slot or perimeter player. Defensively Braswell is going to push for playing time due to his unique gifts like Diaby. Irving is really going to add another layer the Bucs did not have on offense which is an elusive player in space that can take a bubble screen to a first down marker or more.
Most likely I feel like the Bucs still need to add a veteran RB with size and a veteran DL to have as depth and in the rotational mix.
Yes, there has been a plan to rebuild the trenches. Especially considering the key FA additions of Whitehead (starting) & Gregory (in a rotation), this balanced draft added exactly what was critically needed.
Im concerned a bit about Irving, but only because he doesn’t have much mass to contribute any meaningful pass protection. However, the iOL had such improvement, Irving’s ability to bounce outside gives us another dimension to leverage.
Because Coen had to be involved in that selection, I’ll be curious to see how this works.
All in all, I think this was a sneaky good draft!
Every need was filled.
